Layla

"Um, well I didn't eat earlier, so let's go get some food." She mouthed "sorry" at the shifter, trying to say that neither of them really meant it. "And then we can go join my brother."

Oliver

Things were going well for Oliver. Everything the girls had bought earlier had fit into the truck perfectly. He gave the driver the amount owed, and told him it was all going to the Scorchwood. "At least one thing is going to plan today." He muttered under his breath.

"Alrighy, I'm hungry again anyway," she laughs, and follows Layla as she looks for a stall to get food at.

(Sorry for such a short post, I wasn't sure what else to write lol)

Layla

Eventually, Layla found a stall selling fresh pizza. "Should we get a full pizza? We can all share it and if we have leftovers, we could take it back to school with us." She looked at the prices. "Pretty good for fresh pizza." She mumbled.

(No Oliver this time because he isn't doing anything but waiting haha)

"Yes! I love pizza!" Alyra smiles excitedly. "No pineapple though, that's a crime. Or at least it should be," She shakes her head upon seeing someone order a pineapple pizza, and scowls under her breath. She hands Layla the cost of the pizza and waits for her to order, hoping that she doesn't put any vegetables or fruit on it. The only plants that belong on pizza are mushrooms and olives. She thinks, imagining the nightmare of pineapple on pizza and shuddering a bit.

Layla

"Don't worry. I don't even like pineapple by itself, I'd never get it on a pizza." She gave Alyra back half the money, "We'll split the cost, don't worry about it." She went up to the counter and ordered a very meat heavy pizza, having pepperoni, Italian sausage, and Canadian bacon, with olives being the only vegetables on it. Once the pizza was done, she passed over the money and brought it back over to Alyra. "It smells amazing, huh?"

Alyra's jaw drops. "We were meant to meet." She says in a very serious tone. "This pizza is a perfect pizza." She stares at the pizza, drooling a bit. "Thank you for not being a weirdo." she tells Layla, and then bursts out laughing. While Layla is distracted, she sneaks the other half of the money into Layla's pocket, and then pretends like nothing happened. No one has any idea how rich I am, and I'd like to keep it that way, but people giving money back to me just hurts. She thinks to herself.

Layla

Layla smiled, happy that Alyra was satisfied in her signature choice of pizza toppings. She starts laughing with Alyra, and notices Alyra sneak the other half of the money into her pocket. If she really would rather I have this, then I suppose I shouldn't make a big fuss of it. So she didn't and pretended that she didn't notice anything happen. "Alright, let's go meet Oliver in the parking lot now."

"Okey dokey," She says happily, skipping in the direction of the parking lot and humming along to a tune that she heard on the radio one day, and dreaming of eating a slice of delicious pizza.

Layla

Layla hefted the pizza box to comfortably fit in her arms, and ran after Alyra. She had no idea what she was humming, but it sounded nice. Perhaps because she's half harpy and had a nice voice in general. Whatever it was, it was just nice to listen too.

Oliver

"That took you both quite a lot longer than what I thought it would." He slowly sat up after sitting against the moving truck. Noticing the pizza box in Layla's arms, "Ah, I see what took you both so long. You. . . have a nice voice too, Alyra."

Alyra's face turns red at Oliver's comment, so she puts her hands over her face to hide it, though that probably made it more obvious. "Thank you," she squeaks out, and hides behind Layla. Finally getting over her embarrassment, Alyra hops in the back of the moving truck along with the furniture after confirming with the driver that it was ok. "Just don't die back there or anything," The driver tells her, and she convinces Layla and Oliver to get in as well. "It'll probably be fine," She assures them.
