She couldn't wait to dig in. But she knew that she should probably have actual food first. She grabbed actual food, then grabbed dessert. Maybe she grabbed an extra sweet or two. No more than that.

3/4 is an over statement by a longshot. It was more like 2/7 most. And that was mostly because she had grabbed a piece of cake. There were also 2/7 of fruit, but that was healthy stuff. The last 3/7 were meat and veggies. She was being mostly healthy.

She was telling the truth. she went to sit down with her food. Next time she decided to not get any sweets. She could stick to that resolution. Probably. Plus she had a perfect easy getaway if anyone questioned how much she was eating. She went to sit at an empty table.

then the MTF guy walked over and sat with her. he removed his helment.

he has smooth black hair on his face, a clean shaven face, a brown right eye, and a scar that ran across his left eye and down his cheek. an eyepatch covered the left eye. he smiled and began to eat.

She examined his face for about 3.14159 seconds before turning her attention to her food. She was worried that her poker face would break for a second, but she managed to remain normal looking. But she wouldn't lie, he was attractive. Not that she really cared to much though. She did not want to be in another relationship for the rest of her life.
She considered these thoughts to herself quietly as she began eating her food, starting at her least favorite part: the vegtables.

She nearly choked on her food again. Him suddenly speaking to her was a surprise. She looked at the cupcake. It took her a second to formulate a proper sentence.
" Why... are you... giving me a cupcake?"
It sound like a mix between a question and a statement.
