I wrench myself free from the slimy arm and fall to the ground.

Flinching back at the sight of sickly pale skin I squeeze my eyes shut, doing the opposite of what this crazed person seemed to want from me.

Hearing the beginning of another oily moan, you roll out of the way. Just in time as well, as the figure falls face down on the ground. When he doesn't move, you check his pulse.
Dead.
"You're welcome!" A voice says peppily.

I turn around.
"Who are you? I ask"

You hear an enraged growl as the creature thrusts you out of your open window. You can only assume that you are facing the moon.

I lash out, hoping to strike the stranger. I feel something connect with my forearm, but I'm not sure what as it's ashy and dry. It reminds me of peeling skin yet doesn't feel human all at the same time.

"The person that just saved your life; I can't believe that you forgot already," the girl replied in mock offense. "Seriously though? I'm McKenna. Not Mc-y or Kenna in case you were interested."
A creaking noise sounds at the window, and 'McKenna' whirls around. In less than a second, McKenna fires an arrow through the window, making a howl of pain erupt. "You know, Moonwraiths are such a bother. Agreed?"

The stranger lets do of you in shock, and you realize the flaw in your move. You were stuck out of a window. And he let go.
Oops.
Free falling, you scream out in terror. Finally, you hit the ground; or rather the thick leaves of a cluster of raspberry bushes. As you climb out of them, you feel a few thorns scrape your bare forearms. Oh well, you could always pull them off later.
"That was fun to watch," a voice says gleefully.

"Wait what? That slimy arm was a moonwraith?" I ask "I can't believe you guys would save my life."
"Also, you look like your pretty good at fighting."

I let out a relieved laugh as I turn towards the voice, "Fun to experience too, hah what a rush!" I smile mischievously in what I assume is the direction of the stranger, but only seconds later my expression takes on a darker appearance.

"Do I know you? ... And shouldn't your eyes be closed? I mean, we are outside, right?" I quickly rub up and down my arms, locating the thorns before dropping my arms tensely at my sides.
