Shade just about burst into tears past his shield as he half heartedly hugged the dragon boy. It broke his heart,shocking he had one,as Riley pulled away again. He nodded though,seeming more angry to try not to cry as he forced his shaking hands to stop shaking as he picked up his own. "Y-Yeah."

She reads it. "Oh,you didn't.It's just not often am I....wanted 'round.Heh,sorta obv's ... with me....but I'm fine with leavin' if you don't want me around.You wouldn't be the first or last,you don't have to be nice to me."

"It's alright. If you want to stay I don't mind." She offers her a slight smile.

Trisha struggles to give a smile back,something she didn't do often.Smile. "Thanks,but I'm not sure about your friend.I'm much a bother."

"Heigh ho, it's off to work we go!" Riley says, starting at where Shade had positioned him before, and swinging at the wall, almost impaling his own foot again, the only reason he didn't is because he moved his foot back, causing him to get off balance and he nearly fell forward. He drops the pick and puts his hands out, stopping himself from hitting the wall, but with a gruesome snap, a bone in his right wrist fractures.
"Holy-" Riley pushed himself off the wall, stabilizing himself again, cradling his hand. "Breaking something hurts more than I thought it would." He says through clenched teeth.

Shade shoved past his angry and hateful shield and came quickly over as he dropped his pick. "Riley,don't do that ever again." He scolded but was clearly just very worried and shocked. He tenderly reached and took the wrist of the boy that had gotten hurt. "I'll fix it.Now stay still."

"Heh.Wouldn't blame him.Thanks." She honestly,in the inside,felt a lot better about staying.

"It's not like I tried to break my wrist." Riley complains, blinking back tears. "You don't have to fix it. You've fixed all the other wounds I foolishly got, and I don't want you to lose your soul or whatever happens when you use your magic."

Shade uses a thumb to gently stroke one of Riley's eyes to help keep back the tears he knew would come at some point. "To bad,I do have to.I care about you,I'm not letting you stay in pain." He said and then let some black tendrils come and start healing the bone,tenderly digging down and into the main issue. He started there and,feeling the drain of energy from all his body,healed as fast as he could.It would maybe take a minute or two.
