Well Shade was bi,but looks like he was gay because he seemed to like Riley.A lot.He didn't give a real smile to just anyone...if anyone at all,other than Riley. His tail wagged a bit that he actually mattered to someone.

Riley stands on his tip toes, wrapping his arms around Shade's shoulders, giving Shade a small kiss. A part of him was yelling at him to stop and get back to work on the mine while another was urging him on.
