Oh, Fife, for the Items Users are Selling/Items Users are Looking For, maybe the user can have an online docx and just link that there?

I tried 571805 for the hair and 4a1101 for the pants. I found it kept the red without making it too dark. Other than that, I think it looks pretty good and matches the staff well ^ ^. The changes you made were subtle and really nice :)

I definitely think this has merit. I still feel like it will be a lot of work though no? Even if users submit their own lists. I feel like keeping up with what people have sold/found will be difficult, but I like your idea. Ill totally consider implementing it in the future :)

I would say have it bookmarked/favorited on whatever browser they use, and when they find an item/sell an item, they could go back and cross it out, or just erase it. And they could always just add on to the docx if a new item comes out that they must have, but cant afford it, without you having to worry if they added or changed to their post.

What if we did a contest to make an avatar off a strange theme?
You dont need to have all the items.
So, say the theme is:

(found off of google)
And you make this avatar:

And maybe they win, because it matches the theme and The colors blend and the outfit is overall nice.
