Zaire, unfortunately, isnt impressed. He just increases the amount and severity of the insults. He also starts to raise his voice, going from a slightly loud normal tone to a near-shout.

A second later after the sudden outburst, Riley had become quiet and submissive again, going into a fetal position somewhat. "Sh-shut up, fox. You don't understand." He mutters, trying not to gain himself any more attention. However, the insults were slowly getting to him.

Shade stood between the two soon and started hurling his own insults at the fox boy.Fangs bared and wings spread huge and looming. One wing wrapped tenderly and protectively around Riley. "Shut up! Your nothing but a kid with a bunch o' furr that don't mean nothing but screams cuddle me! At least Riley understands feelings,you on the other hand.Oh,should I say paw~? Well on the other paw,who am I kidding? You don't have feelings!"

"Everyone has feelings, some just are so good at hiding them, no one notices them, maybe not even the person themself sometimes." Riley whispers, somehow still trying to give the fox another chance.

He doesnt even react, he just raises his voice into a complete shout, switching more to insults about reptiles and how hes going to kill them, that sort of thing.

Shade's expression softened for a moment as he looks to Riley. "That's what the thing is with insults,you lie and tell them what you feel would be their fear of themselves and use it.Dig it into them." He seemed to have insulted a lot before.Shade ignored how the reptile insults stung him right in the chest.

"Hmmm... How does this Fox know me well enough to do that, then?" Riley laughs bitterly. He turns to the fox. "You know, fox? You're just annoying. No body wants to listen to you. Also, go pick on someone your own size next time. Maybe they can knock some sense into you."

Shade nodded,clearly impressed again by Rileys words. He was so tempted to scream at the fox but wanted to see if Riley could keep up holding his own ground.

In response he launches himself at Riley, hitting him square in the chest.

Now that got Shade angry again,launching himself into the fox boy full thrust and using his wings to slam into him. "LEAVE HIM ALONE BISH!"
