Cole froze. His eyes widened. " Wait, you? I thought, I thought...." He couldn't bring himself to finish the sentence. " How is this possible? How'd you end up here?" He couldn't tell if what he was feeling was shock or relief. Maybe it was a bit of both. He looked at Sasha, and remembered all of the times they had spent together.

(Ooh, I'm liking this so far.)

She nodded in recognition.
"I knew I knew you, Cole. So you remember the Guild? What happened to the pack of shifters you were with?"

(Me too)

He chuckled, but he knew it was nothing to laugh about. " They, they...uh..left me for dead. Why? I don't know. I guess they didn't trust me after our meeting with the Guild. Something like that." He scoffed, looking away from Sasha. " I'm sorry, about whatever might've happened to you." he said.

(Sorry for such a late reply, I was walking my dogs haha)

Layla

"It's good anti-theft if that works. But 5,000 pounds? That's like a bed frame and mattress and a couch. Unless if we're going for fake wood which would be cheaper. But it would be cheaper in quality too and likely fall apart after a few years." She laughed at Alyra's joke. "We should probably take three, just to try and get as much furniture as we can on there."

Oliver

"Don't tell the witches you said that. They might take it personally," he laughed. "But I must admit that it is an amazing feat of engineering. But, if we are to meet these movers in a few hours, we should get moving."

(No worries, I've been shopping for ski gear all day and got back only about 30 minutes ago)

"Ah, that's true." Alyra thinks back to what she said before. "Maybe they aren't as amazing as I thought they were..." She turns on two more trolleys, giving one to each friend and taking the one from before as her own." I've already found some nice paint, so all we need now is furniture..." "Shall we split up to cover more ground or stay together for safety?" She inquires. "We only have about an hour and a half before we need to meet the moving person."

Layla

She carefully took her own trolley. "Split up and cover more ground. The market's too big for us to find everything in an hour and a half. Glad you found the paint though, that's one less detour." She took out the paper from earlier and crossed off paint from the list.

Oliver

"I'd normally be inclined to agree. The amount of time it would take for us to find anything would be too much together. But, with everything that just happened, I'm not sure we should leave each other. Plus, who knows what other dangers there are in here?" He looked out of the corner of his eye at Layla, obviously indicating he was more worried for her.

Sasha nodded.
"I'm sorry about what happened to you, too."
She tried to think of something to say.
"Are you attending Scorchwood?"

(so sorry about my sudden disappearance, my school needed another person to run a "spooky 10k" fundraiser thing so i had to jump in)

"You two can stick together, I think I can hold my own." She lies, knowing very well that she would pass out if something spooked her too badly, but then remembering that she could just fly away if anyone tries to harm her. Wings are useful... she thinks, and then waves goodbye to Layla and Oliver, then dashing off and weaving in between people and stalls to find what she's looking for.

Oliver

"If you say so. That works for us just fine." We both can likely tell if anything's happening around us, and if the worst occurs Layla can run. It'll be better to not have to worry about her as well. "We'll go down this way, happy hunting!" He waved goodbye and watched as Alyra weaved through the stalls and people.

Layla

She followed her brother with her trolley picking up what she thought would be useful and putting it on his cart. Once his was full, she finally put her trolley to use. She finally felt much better and could put her mind fully to the task. "We need to find some more primary furniture. I wonder if they'd be in the next aisle."

Once Alyra's cart is finally piled high after what feels like forever, she clicks a button which makes it float high up in the sky as to not block the walkway, and then grabs another one, piling on more furniture and decorations. Then she runs into someone. "Oh, sorry, I didn't see you there," she apologizes, turning to go in the other direction, but the girl stomps on Alyra's foot. "Didn't see me?!?" she shrieks, and Alyra can tell this is going to cause a big scene. "Do you know who I am?!?" the girl continues, screaming her head off. "Obviously not," Alyra replies, trying to have a calm tone, but stuttering so much through those two words that she almost gives up by the end of it. "I am Roxanne Nova!" "Of the most powerful vampire family in the world!" "I can ruin your life. In fact, maybe I will." She hisses at Alyra, getting ready to pounce on her and rip out her throat, until a dreamboat-looking boy shows up and takes Roxanne's arm. "Babe, lets not get involved with commonfolk. Honestly, look at her, she's not worth our time." He says in a soothing voice, gesturing to Alyra. "Sure, she's pretty, but look closer. You know what I see? A mutt. She's a Hybrid." He continues, and after a minute of thinking Roxanne replies "Okay Jamie, but only because i don't want to cause a fuss right before my party." She hands a flier to Alyra and before leaving tells her "I expect you to be there by the way. And if you're not, I will hunt you down and kill you. No one is above my parties, they are legendary." As the two leave, the "Jamie" person turns and winks at Alyra in a seductive way, and the kisses the the girl named "Roxanne". Alyra is shaking in fear. If I go, she'll have a chance to kill me, but if I don't go, she'll hunt me down. What do I do?
