"No that's fine. I'll go with you! Ready when you are but i just need to have a quick word with Dmitri, if that's ok." They nodded smiling. Shade and Dmitri walked off while the others discussed groups.

Shade took Dmitri to see her house and the bodies. "Dmitri look." Shade pulled her ' Mothers' collar down. "She never ever wanted a tattoo which means this is a Dark Gang member. Not my mother. These are decoys. Which means this whole set up was so the Dark Gang could get to me. I'm wondering if my father did this to fool anyone poking their unwanted nose in...do you think..." Dmitri bit his lip. "Yes i do. Because this," He gestured to everything. "Is not mum's style. So I reckon they're at a safe house, I'm just not sure where that would be. I was thinking it might be at my place, but, I also think they'd want to get as far away from the gang as possible...which means they're probably over seas." Shade nodded."At least they're safe." Dmitri left Shade to have a few minutes. Shade went to her bedroom for one last look around. She missed all this. The peace, practicing fire with her brother. She got an old fuel canister from the kitchen and walked around the house with it, fuel dripping onto the floor. She then turned the gas on. She walked outside and Harry and Dmitri immediately snapped. "Why can we smell gas?" Shade faced the house without answering and got a fireball in her hand. Cries of "NO!" and "DON'T DO IT!" split the air. She set fire to a bit of fuel by her feet and in a few seconds, the whole house was a blaze. "My message to the Dark Gang...leave my family alone, or that'll br you." She walked into the forest she knew inside out and started searching for signs of the Dark Gang.

Akari sighed, that girl.... "Harry, Dimitri, I guess you're following her then.... Ladia, follow them, Peace, Shane and Arashi, with me to the north, while Caldwell, Sakura, Yukio and Amaya cover west."
Amaya nodded, before the raven-haired girl grabbed the shorter teen and swung him onto her back, and ran off. "Eh-!" Arashi shouted. "W-wait!" The girl seemed to hear, and the boy on her shoulders took the chance when she slowed down to re-adjust himself on her back, and the girl said. "Aww, come on, we've got to hurry anyway. Besides, the two of us alone can scout faster, and I still have the flare I took from your home!"
Sighing, Akari turned to the others. "If any of you want to change groups, do say, if you want, Ladia, Shane and Peace will be in one group, Harry, Shade and Dimitri in another, and I guess that means Caldwell and Sakura?"

Ladia "i'll go with the bros." (later)
Shane took the lead followed by Peace and Ladia who all headed north. Shane "if you hear any sounds or see anything suspicious be on guard". Peace "we know were not stupid". Ladia "I suggest that we get to higher ground". Shane "good idea". Peace then gave Shane a boost into a tree a arrow was fired a second later. Shane "Peace". Peace "on it". Peace hits the ground with his staff and sends a flying rock at the gang member. Shane "thanks". Peace "there's probably more Shane you see there camp" Shane did a scan of the area as best he could but didn't see a thing. Shane "these guys know how to hide". Peace "better move than". Shane jumped down and the group continued but when they past the fallen gang member. Shane "better take some arrows". Peace "serious your going to loot a dead body". Shane "he doesn't need em". Peace "fine". Shane takes the arrow case and puts it on and notices something else. Shane "why does he have paper?". Ladia "not sure but if were done looting, I would like to stay away from the dead". Shane "it's a map! Heres the town and". Shane points at a spot on the map with tents on it. Shane "here's there base clever by the hills okay guys lets go report". They head back to town.

Akari
The moment Akari said her last sentence, the groups were off, and sighing, she whistled, calling Abend to her side. "Survey from the air. Should anything happen, you should know what to do." With that, she and Arashi went to check the west side of the forest, dragging Caldwell and Sakura with them.

Amaya
"Heh, kid, you doing fine there?"
"Considering how you threw me on your back, relatively fine."
Amaya shook her head chuckling. From a pair of strangers, they became the closest thing to friends and would only trust each other in this group. What a strange turn in their relationship.
"Woah!" As she turned to her right, an arrow whizzed towards her head, and she barely missed. Darn... How had she missed that? Thankfully, with a little bit of sparring and tips from her, Yukio had gotten a bit better with his elemental control, and sent an ice bolt towards the direction the arrow came from. Seeing a shadow move to evade the ice, Amaya let the boy on her back down, immediately giving chase.
The attacker was quickly dealt with, and she knelt down beside it, as a medium sized ((small enough to fly through the forest without taking to the sky, so you guys won't know what Yukio's shift is :D)) ice dragon landed beside her and shifted back to her companion.
"A dark gang member huh?"
"Looks like it." She answered back, doing a quick check of the body to look for clues. "Well, would'cha lok at that..." She mused. She had found a letter on him, along with a couple arrows and knives, which she took for herself, along with his bow. When Yukio raised an eyebrow, she simply replied, "He's not getting up anytime soon, so might as well. Now, let's head back, shall we?"

Shade ran forward, not bothering to check where her friends were. She crouched by a tree and ran her hand up the bark. she was looking for something. suddenly their was a click and the bark fell away, revealing a tunnel underground. "If they're not here, then there's no hope of me finding them." She murmured. "Wait! SHADE!" She jumped in before they reached her. She hollered up. "Caw if someone comes, no matter who they are! No one else can find this!" They nodded their reply and leaned casually against the tree, covering the big gap.

It was dark. Very dark. Shade lit a fireball in her hand and tentatively walked forward. She felt along the wall for a lamp. "bingo." She put the fireball in the lamp and it flickered as she breathed. Suddenly, many more lamps lit up as a voice spoke out from the darkness. "Shade? Is that...you?" Shade looked up and breathed a sigh of relief. "Mother!" She sprinted to her mother and hugged her. "Where's the others?" Shade beamed. "Well, they're just..." She was cut off by a masculine voice, young and energetic. "What's all the racket mum?" Shade looked over her mother's shoulder. "ANDREW?" The figure stopped. "Oh my word! Look who crawled out of their hole?" He teased. Steel let off a few sparks...literally. "Oooh. I'm so scared." He let off more. Their laughter filled the room, all the way up to the high ceilings! The walls appeared to be made of sandstone, or something. It looked like what one would imagine the inside of the pyrmaids to be like. "Where's father?" They shuffled awkwardly. "They took him." Shade's eyes turned a fiery colour for an instant. "I'm in a team and I'm gonna kill the b******* that killed him." They nodded. "Are you going to stay?"
Shade nodded solemnly. "No, not at the moment. But I will be back. I can't get the years I've missed with you back, but I can make my future years come!" She gave them both a hug before turning and leaving the way she came.

When she reached the top again, she said to Dmitri. "They're not there. It's all empty." She said that with such sincerity that he believed her. Out of habit, she had a her fingers crossed as well. Hearing others running back to camp, they swiftly headed that way as well.

Oh actually nvm
Sakura shifted, hoping that her nose would be able to help with the scouting. The only thing she could smell was the burning fuel. She did not enjoy not knowing what was around her. "This is not good," she said, not really expecting anyone to respond.
"Hey, at least we have a lead on where the gang are," Caldwell replied to her, looking thoughtful. H had a point. Up until now they had no idea where to even start looking.
Sakura froze after about 20 minutes of searching. Something smelt wrong. There was someone nearby, although whether they were well intentioned or not, she couldn't tell. She yelled out to the group and they hid, waiting to ambush the people coming towards them.

Shane and the others ran through the brush and landed in a clearing Shane on reaction sensed the plants in the area and sensed something wrong, he signaled to the others. Shane then ran through the bush he thought something was off with and almost stabbed Sakura (sorry). Peace "dude stop swinging open your eyes!". Shane opened his eyes and saw Sakura shifted (he was swinging high). Shane "whoops". Ladia "do you guys know where the others are because we were heading back to show everyone this". She shows the map to the others.

Shade and her friends reached the clearing with the others. "did you find anything?" she asked looking around. She spun around and frowned. "where are the others? We're not all here." dmitri put a hand on her Arm and turned her round to face him. "something's wrong. There's someone else, I've no idea who. But it's not the dark gang." he turned to go into the forest but shade grabbed him. "NO! I mean...er...let's just wait for the others to get back first." shades outburst for everyones attention. "shade. What are you not telling us?" Harry warned. "er...nothing..." they looked at her with a look which said, 'dont bullsh!t us.' "you found them didn't you." dmitri said. "NO!" shade squeaked. "we're not leaving until you tell us." silence.

Sakura blinked a few times and fell backwards, shocked by Shane's attacked. "Woah, I'm not the enemy here guys," she said, slowly getting back on her feet. She shook herself off and then looked at the map that Ladia held. "What's the map for?" she asked. Before she could get an answer, Shade and her group reached where they were. Shade was acting mysterious again, and Sakura had had enough. "For f***s sake, just tell us already. Someone's life could be at stake and all you care about is being all secretive. You are part of a team, start acting like it."
Caldwell had to stop himself from laughing. Angry Sakura in shift form yelling at Shade. It was quite an amusing sight.

"Yes it is! That's exactly WHY I'm being secretive thanks! Because funnily enough, I care more about this person's life than being trusted by the likes of you." She snapped. Dmitri looked at her disgusted. "I knew it. What the duck Shade? I mean come on, you think I, me, an gonna hurt them?" He shook his head and head of towards the tree where Shade had seen her family. "You go down there. You bring them up. Go on. I dare you. But you'll be exposing them to the pain the have already been through. If you had any decency left. You would leave them be." He carried on walking. "FINE! have it your way. But when I am asked who killed your parents, who's name do you think I'm gonna answer with." He halted and slowly turned. He looked ferocious. "Bring it." She muttered. They ran at each other and began fighting furiously, and no one could stop them.
