Riley just smiles and nods, though on the inside, he was freaking out. Oh no, Riley, what have you done?! THIMBLES AREN'T KISSES UNLESS YOU'RE WITH PETER PAN OR YOU ARE WENDY OR YOU LIVE IN NEVERLAND. I don't want to grow up, so I'm going to escape to Neverland someday. Wow, that was random. No, not too random. Stop trying to avoid the issue. I don't have an actual thimble... I can't be Wendy therefore, so therefore I should stop worrying. Doesn't help the situation though. I was expecting Shade to know that I was joking... Welp...

He soon shook himself from the odd daze that Riley's kiss had put him in and that shield dropped over his soft inside self again. "Dragons don't do that,because it's a human thing.For squishy mortals." He growled at himself,kicking his left shin as if to scold himself.He was no where near as gentle with himself as he was with Riley at times.

"Hey, hey, no need to hurt yourself. Calm down... I'm being a bad influence, aren't I. I should leave so then you can stay... dragon-y. I'm not sure what you call it." Riley says, getting up and heading out.

Shade felt really angry at himself as Riley headed out,he felt as if he'd chased him away as he did most everyone. He sighed and jabbed his stinger of his tail at his left leg,wincing as it broke skin. "Please..don't go." He mumbled,not looking at Riley.

"Okay-" Riley turns and heads back, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Don't stab yourself. Otherwise... I don't have any good threat cause I never fall through with any threat. But please, don't hurt yourself..."

Shade sighed and yanked his stinger out,paying no mind to the fact that he was bleeding now. "Why?"

"Because it hurts you and I can't have that. It's not okay to hurt yourself. It shows disrespect to yourself, and if you don't respect yourself, why should anyone else? I mean, that's just my thoughts." Riley grows quiet, diverting his gaze from the blood.

"Not like respect is given,it's earned." He muttered. "You fight your way up to be respected,show others you should be respected no matter what you have to do.No matter what." He wasn't talking to Riley for a moment until he shook himself and flicked a hand,tendrils coming from thin air and then tightly wrapping around where he'd punctured himself. "It'll heal on its own."

"I can't fight... in that case, I shouln't be respected?" Riley asks quietly.

Shade huffed and stood,then marched right up to Riley,holding his shoulders in a way anyone could find threatening but his grip wasn't to firm. "Everyone deserves respect,I only follow by law the roles of dragons that must be played.I have to work my way up,you deserve the respect unlike I." his voice was serious and stern but kind in its own way. His ruby red eyes stared right into Riley's eyes,as if they could look in and see his soul.As if they where reaching down into the deepest depths of him.
