Glitch met the two older boys with a stern gaze, resembling that of a parent warning their child.
"Don't get into trouble." she said. "I want you both to come back."

This wasn't the first time Kaz had got this look from her. He thought she resembled her mother when she looked at him like that.

He grinned. "Yes ma'am!" he said, saluting.

Fern smiled.

'I intend to little lady. I intend to.'

Glitch hugged her brother.

"I'll see you later, kid." Kaz said, ruffing up her fur.

He turned to Fern, "Ready?" He asked.

Fern looked back at Kaz.

'As ready as I'll ever be.'

Fern shared his last goodbyes with his family and followed Kaz outside.

Black walked with them, escorting them to the exit.

He turned to the boys when they reached the edge of the forest.

'Ok boys, this is it, do your best and do try to play nice together.'

"Right." he nodded to Black and looked around.

Kaz didn't know exactly where to search for this guy but he knew how he could find out.

"Well, come on then." he said to Fern, walking forward. "The sooner this is over, the better."

Fern looked like he was about to protest (not feeling like following Kaz when he knew the way better then he did) but a look from his dad made him stop.

'Alright then.' And Fern followed Kaz.

(Should they have a physical fight somewhere in their mini quest? And maybe we should devide their strengths? I mean something like this: Kaz is the strongest, Fern the most agile and fast, both are clever in their own way. Kaz because of his traveling and having to deal with feiht (who is vey clever so you need to brighten up in order not to be used completely by him) and Fern because he is physicly not that strong and had to learn how to outsmart other sylesties in a fight, using his speed and agility. How does something like that sound? And if you want Feiht to make an apearence just let me know, I'll make him walk right in.)

Kaz noticed Fern's uneasiness but didn't say anything until they were further away from the forest.

"Look, we're not going so start searching for the blind spot immediately, everyone will be expecting us. It'd be better to start later."

"So... Did Black say anything to you about my plan?" He knew he'd have to say something sooner or later and decided that sooner would be better.

(A fight between them sounds interesting and maybe Feiht could interrupt and that's how he comes in.)

'Bits and pieces, not the whole thing though, told me trust you and all that.'

Fern said walking Next to Kaz.

Kaz had really hoped they'd let him go alone, then he wouldn't have to explain anything.

"Well, the short version is that I know someone who might know how the Vorkid got in the forest. The thing is, I have no idea where he is but he's got a bit of a reputation so it shouldn't be hard to find him."
