"I meant without that arm." Stratos said. "Have you ever thought about living a life without it? Or do you like the way you are now?" This was a question Stratos pondered himself. would he rather live a life without the arm of his, or would he rather live like a human? "Though I do have to admit, humans are quite... defenseless..."
"Once..." Miku breathe out with a smile. "It must have been beautiful..." She had always wanted to see the sun, to be free, even if it meant death. Truly, weren't the two one and the same? She remembered a song her parents had sung, in a different language than english. What did they call it again? German? "Die Freiheit und der Tod. Die beiden sind Zwillinge. Die Freiheit oder der Tod? Unser Freund ist ein!" She said.

Zecu shook his head. " No...this arm has been apart of me since birth and I have never had a problem with it... " he growled. " Plus my arm isn't the only thing keeping me from being human... " he said. " But I ain't showing you it... " he said.
He then looked at the female. " I've actually never been up there...but my great great great great great father and mother apparently lived there... " he said, shrugging.

Miku sighed. "I wonder if any of us will get a chance to be up there. I know, I must sound like a dreamer, but I can't help it! I wonder, is life better up there? Though the birth thing applies to us. But there was one point in my life in which I wondered how it was to live without fear of accidentally burning something up." She then turned to Stratos. "You?"
Th emale shrugged. "I have wondered every now and then what would happen if I didn't have this arm... Can't say I hate it though."

Zecu shrugged." Who cares...they won't accept anyone who goes up there... " he said. " Including purebred humans... " he said truthfully. " But who would want to go up there anyway? It's probably safer down here... " He growled.

"Probably... But I want to see the world up there, the trees, the water... Even the sun! Even if it's just a dream that won't come true, it's something that makes you want to stay alive, you know?" Miku said with a smile as she sat cross-legged on the floor. "Though I would admit that it might be safer here."
Stratos rolled his eyes affectionately - that was Miku alright - and ruffled her hair. "Who knows? Maybe one day." Looking to Zecu, he added to his statement. "Even humans huh? Their own kind. If they won't accept Kakutors or purebred Humans, then I wonder where halves like us should live in."

Zecy snorted and growled after woulds. " You would probably be considered a Kakutor...both of you... " he said. He was starting to get bored of the conversation of the surface world and wondered if he should make the sound again, kill the male and then get the female...
He was starting to not like the idea of doing that, why? Because he was starting to enjoy their company, something only a few minutes ago he would of shuddered at.

Miku sighed, stand up and stretching. "Yeah, we both don't look very human, do you?" she said with a dry chuckle. "So, I told you what I really want to do, to go up. So what about you? I heard Kakutors have long lifespans, so you should have a long time to reach your goal, right?" She asked with a soft smile.
Stratos chuckled, marveling at the strangeness of it all. At first, he was sure the Kakutor would attack them - he seemed like he would do it - but now? Look, they were having a friendly conversation with him!

Zecu was taken by slight surprise. He never actually knew what he wanted before...well...nothing really apart from being able to survive, a natural instinct. " Nothing... " he replied. " I have no..." he growled. " goal... "
He wondered why humans and half-breeds had things to aim for...was it to pass time if they had lots to spare? He had no clue but somehow felt jealous the female had a goal and he didn't...

"No... goal?" Miku was slightly surprised. She was sure even Kakutors would have one. Glancing over to her friend, she frowned when she noticed that his face gave nothing away. Shaking her head, she turned back to Zecu. "What drives you then? Makes you want to stay alive? Everyone has a goal, whether they know it or not... I think."

Scipher landed in front of her with a hiss. "Your going to die." Was all he said and then lunged at her. All he wanted was to rip her stomach open and tear her intestines out. He wanted to take all the anger of his life out on her. Murder was a great relief and the only way.
