Shade trembled slightly,clearly holding himself back from just tackling Riley and sinking his fangs in swiftly. "It won't kill you." He said softly,as if to reassure himself he wasn't about to kill Riley,he was only going to take what he needed. "Just...promise not to scream." he said,looking Riley straight in the eyes and this was his last chance to back out,his eyes screamed it. But his trembling showed that Riley either took it or left it,because it was getting hard for Shade to control himself.

Aaron didn't wake up. As usual, she continued to squirm in her bed. There was never much worth in trying to wake her. Many who did would often get a good punch to the face. Eventually she managed to awaken. She sat quickly up and gasped quietly. She grabbed onto the edges of her blanket and breathed in and out slowly until he had regained her usual demeanor.

"You don't mind if I talk, do you? I find the wait to be more dangerous than when it actually happens because half the time it's not that bad, it's just the wait and having to sit there for forever that really gets to me, you know? Because then you have time to think and doubt and fear and then by the time you actually have to do it, you want to run screaming from the room." Riley says, talking to try and divert his thinking from anything that said blood thirsty dragon.

It's very dead.

"I don't mind if you talk,just don't burst my ear drums." He said,kinda surprised Riley didn't seem to take the way out.But then again he was human,and they often where weak little things with one track minds that where more stubborn than a mule headed Shocktail. But most likely Riley wouldn't have a good time with trying to divert his mind from thinking blood thirsty dragon because soon Shade's eyes where trained on his neck and he was soon going to lose hold on himself and just pin the boy and bite.His trembling gave that away.

"Okay. I won't try to. Can't give you any promises." Riley says with a small whimper, "Just please don't kill me..."

"I won't.Wouldn't dare." he said softly. "Just don't ... hate me just yet." He said,then with speed faster than a humans he quickly took Riley by the shoulders,hold suprisingly firm but gentle,and then turned him and pinned him firmly to the wall,one hand on Rileys jaw in case to block a scream and his chest pressed to the boys to keep him still. His breath was warm as it fanned over the boys ear and it was deep and rhythmic. His wings blocked any one else from seeing this.

Riley winces as he hits the wall, keeping his promise and not screaming. The wait is always worse, remember? It's probably not going to be half that bad, who knows. Stop panicking, you put yourself into this mess. I don't even know how I did it... You are seriously a people-pleaser. Or in this case, a dragon pleaser. A blood-thirsty dr= NOPE! Not thinking about that. La la la la la. What did you say? Can't hear you.

Shade trembled faintly,as if he didn't want to hurt Riley even though his anger was still radiating strongly. He carefully put a hand to the other side of Rileys' neck and started ... oddly massaging his main vein on his right side,but he placed his fangs,upper and lower,on either side of the main vein on the other side.

Riley was trying his best to keep still, but he was shaking. He closes his eyes and takes deep breaths, resting his head on the wall as he tries to keep his panic levels from rising. He said he wouldn't kill you. You are going to be just fine. It's just... different from what you're used to. That's why you are panicking. So stop panicking. There is nothing to fear "Except fear itself." Riley whispers, repeating the ending of the famous quote aloud.
