He perked the faintest bit up as Riley said tackle,but then realized humans used it as a metaphor and darkened again. "Sure.Nothing better to do.You think they'll let me kill anything?" He couldn't help but ask,he really had a lust for blood at the moment and wasn't about to take a bite out of Riley. He technically was like a Vampire,but instead he only need the taste of blood now and then.But he'd kill out of control if he didn't get it for a long period of time.Which is why he'd been here,why he'd gone crazy and made a blood bath...at a coffee shop.

"Ki-" Riley's voice was high-pitched for a moment before he cleared his throat and tried again. "Kill? Uh, um... I... I mean, there's ton of spiders and stuff and there's probably bugs we crush under our feet without realizing it... Um... Why do you need to kill? Please don't kill me. I mean, I guess you could kill me since I'm annoying and it would free your room up a bit and I don't really know how to fight, but I don't want to die."

Shade stared at him with blood red eyes and he licked his fangs with a tongue that had a reptilian end that was split in two. "I wouldn't kill you." He said softly,then spoke normally. "And I mean actually kill.I just need a bit of blood,that's all." He said,voice a little like 'is that so wrong?'. Dragons played life a lot differently. Honestly,he didn't need to kill in order to get his blood dosage,just a bite to a neck and he'd take just enough to feel better and keep his sanity but he wouldn't take enough to harm the hoste.

"Do you need to actually kill kill? Or just get blood?" Riley asks, figuring that life was different for dragons, but he was still a tiny bit confused and shocked. "And how much is a bit of blood? I'm sure you could take blood and not have to kill."

He licked his fangs yet again,to the left this time as he nodded a bit. "Yeah,just blood...and maybe half a quart.Not a lot,just enough to satisfy my self.It wouldn't harm any host."

"I'm not sure anyone will exactly sign up for that..." Riley says, continuing before really thinking it through. "Why don't you bite me? I mean, you said it's not going to harm me exactly, and you need it to not go crazy." What... did I just say? You're afraid of needles and blood, what is wrong with you?!

He stared at Riley. "If I bite you,it will cause me to be addicted to your blood in particulare.You do understand that,correct? And I do not wish to use you as a blood source.That's why I kill,so that i do not go back to one person for human blood multiple times." He was serious,and his blood red eyes showed it. This kid must be crazy,letting a dragon bite him? He does realize he's just offered to be my blood source,correct?

"I still think it's wrong for you to kill anyone, so I would be willing to if it meant someone else didn't die." Riley whispers, still not sure why he was saying this. Stop talking, STOP TALKING. WHY ARE YOU STILL TALKING? WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I DON'T KNOW!

Shade sighed,his mouth showing that he really wanted,no,needed a taste of blood and his dragon longing was getting desperate. "Your either what humans call kind,or what we dragons call stupid. You have to promise you won't go back on this,because if you do...that risks your own life.Sometimes I can't control my dragon self and...I don't want to see you get hurt." He mumbled the last part.

Riley starts to tremble slightly, but he kept talking. It was almost like he was watching himself sign his life away. You must be crazy. You are crazy though, since you're in here. What are you thinking? Well, aparently I'm not saying what I'm thinking. "I might just be stupid or out right crazy, but what does it matter. I'm fine with it, and as long as you're satisfied, I'm satisfied." Riley mutters, not sure why he was doing this, but at the same time unable to help himself. ... I didn't just say that. You were always so eager to please others. Fool, you just signed your life away. But then again, what more do I have to live for, so might as well.
