Us fairies have a thing called a humitess, it basically can tell if you are who you say you are. It works for pets as well. Thats how we know if it isnt on of us or our pets.

Technically yes. But only fairies are allowed to them, not any fairy anyway, its the guard fairies. Theres only about 7 of them in existence.
