Shad went along the eastern border and as far as she could tell no one was there. *Sigh* She sat on a tree and thought Why do they not come? It makes no sense. They know the land is dying because of the two leggers.

"You can ride on my back," Icepaw offers.

"We will be leaving this place soon an travaling for a long time, until we find a place to call our home." Smokestar says in a angry but sympathetic voice.

Shad ran back towards Obsidian a little sad she hadn't found any one "Obsidian!" Shad called quietly walking up to him, "It's time to go back come on."

Snowfall*she looked at Icepaw with a small smile*If it's not a...um...a problem...*she stood up*

Poppyleaf was strolling through the forest after a visit to Shade, giving him the news of her new rank in the clan. She brushed through some ferns and blinked at a small clearing with Icepaw, Smokestar, and a small white kit. She looked at Smokestar and purred in amusement.

"Who's this, Smokestar? Isn't it a little close to the Journey to be picking up stray kits?"

Snowfall*she looked at the new cat and blinked*

Smokestar answers"I didn't find her, Icepaw did.As usual bringing more to the clan.Probally so she has somene to talk to."

"She wont be a burden pnce we get out of this area will all be eatening good once we get away from this place."Icepaw retorts

Snowfall*she blinked and tilted her head to the side*Burden?*she echoed in question*

Obsidian yawned and stretched, waking up from his nap. "Already? Can't we stay for a while longer?"

obsidian looked at Shad's expression. "Oh all right. We're going, ok, I get it. Jeeze." He stood up and stretched his paws. He looked at Shad in a playful expression.

"Race ya!" And took off.

"Your not a burden if you ask me but thats how some of the older cats will se another mouth to feed at the moment.You see 2-legs have destroyed our land, scared the prey and poisened the water but were leaving in a few days and then it's fat mice and paradise.Though, we'll still be travaling."Icepaw answers.


Smokestar adds" Some want to leave the elders behind becuase they are older, but were not, you see in the clans we never turn someone down in need and our elders are to be respected becuase they once served the clan and have deserved a comfortible retirement."
