As Zecu neared them, the sound grew unbearable, and Stratos clasped his hands over his ears as he fell to his knees. "S-Stop it!" Miku shouted, as she found herself on the ground. Glaring at Zecu with one eye open - she had closed the other due to her flinching - she saw Stratos make a dash for the Kakutor, left arm raised. She noticed that he wasn't aiming for Zecu's arm however, but rather the wall which he was scratching.

Zecu saw the male run at him and raised his large arm in defense, the sound stopping. He growled as he noted the male was probably going to try and attack him...with a weak arm...he found it hilarious and chuckled to himself as he kept his arm up.

Stratos jumped back at the last minute, but not before slamming his arm into the left wall, causing it to crack. Miku breathe a sigh of relief, and stood up after rubbing her hurt ears. "Well, that hurt to hear." She said, narrowing her eyes at Zecu.
"It did..." Stratos added, mumbling. Cracking his neck - it was slightly stiff - he next did the same to his fingers and knuckles, stretching them.

Zecu laughed. " You learn to live with that sound... " He said, laughing. " Don't think for a second it's not painful for me either...but I'm used to it due to my arm always dragging against the floor... " he smiled and shrugged. It was tempting to start up the sound again and then slaughter the male and paralyze the female...

Miku and Stratos raised am eyebrow in unison. They never thought about that, since Stratos' left arm never scraped against the floor. "Heh, how old are you anyway, for you to be used to it?" Stratos asked, as he locked eyes with Zecu. Miku now moved to stand by his side, still rubbing her ears. How her companion recovered so fast she would never know...

Zecu shrugged. " 100 something...I forgot...hard to keep count with nothing to tell you if it's dark or light up on the surface... " he shrugged. " How old are you half-breeds? " he asked, walking towards them but holding his large arm up to stop if scraping on anything.

Both halves said their ages, Miku the younger of the pair. "Huh, don't you go out in the sun of something?" Asked Miku. "And just how heavy is your arm, exactly? From the way you put it, it seems it's easier to leave it hanging rather than lifted up." Both held their ground this time, though they wanted to finish this fast, and return to their pets who awaited in the above city.

Zecy growled. " If you two haven't noticed there is no sun this deep underground! " he said. " And my arm isn't that heavy...for me anyway... " he added as he walked right up to the two. " And it's probably just as heavy as your arm... " he added, gently poking the male's right arm with his large arm.

"You idiot! I meant go above ground or something! Can't Kakutors do that? We were pretty sure only Kakutors had access to the ground level." Had the pair been wrong? Was there really no way out of this accursed place?
"Is it?" Stratos murmured, glancing at his arm in wonder. "It seems so much heavier." Shaking his head, he glanced up at Zecu - apparently the kakutor was about a head taller than him - locking eyes with him again. "Do you ever wish you were human?"

Zecu looked at the female. " Once... " he said before he turned his attention to the male and he snorted, growling after woulds. " No! You humans are weak and just food for us! " he growled. " Why would I wish to be weak and food? " he said, shaking his head. " I would never want to be human... " he said, not growling it.
