In a time, in a galaxy, far far away...

Where Sylestias once thrived,

and bonded with humans...

That is,

until

the humans left, with exploding their planet behind them.

The sylestias evolved, soon to create civilization and reach intelligence levels that no other animal has reached before,

creating a widely used language throughout the whole species,

and living with wings or supernatural powers.

Jep(AKA Healer)

A young enough Ferrikki who hates other sylestias thinking her ears are bandages wobbling around

Cresent (AKA Freak)

A natural-born creepy, this guy loves to collect skulls. Who knows whose those are?

Coosh (AKA Constellationeer)

A Zolnixi who uses her supernatural spells to navigate through space. Bestie of Jep, and a star-addict.

It was still a starry morning, the sun shining so brightly, and the planets encircling furiously. Coosh floated around, smiling as she swam to the nearest planet. Jep was already there, tweaking with a machine she'd made during the last break. A drill was in her mouth, a few nails were wrapped into her long ears. Coosh stared at it attentively, curious at her ways.

"Wat art thue luking at?" She asked, still not let going of the drill in her mouth. Coosh whacked it out and dragged her off.

"Wait, where are you going? You nearly knocked all my teeth off and everything! Where are we going?"

"I have something very important to show you. You know the freak, right?"

"You mean Cresent, right?"

"He's a freak, he collects skulls."

"Yes, I hate that, but-"

"So, I thought you'd like to see more of that. I've found his hiding place. Omi!"

Even though it was space, and there was no wind, they flew faster with the magic, passing by a Sylvorpa.

They are those who create illusions, and they create ones for themselves too. They surround themselves with illusions of seaweed, missing the sea back on earth. The Sylvorpa smiles at the two, swooping and turning, performing tricks as a way of saying hi.

Jep was yanked back and forth, crossing planets here and there. Turns out, they are all a same planet, and she was seeing them all differently due to how dizzy she was. "Wh-why are we circling?" She scream-asked, trying to control her long ears flapping about.

"I have no idea why! But it's fun!"

"You said we'll be searching for that skull coll-"

"I know!"

Coosh suddenly halted from her spell-flying, tumbling backward and hitting Jep square on her nose.

"Ouch!"

"Shh! Yeah, yeah, sorry! Look!" Coosh whispered, yanking Jep's head towards somewhere. Then, just 30 steps away, was Cresent. And, he was doing something mysterious, jumping and yapping something out loud.

"What's he doing?"

"How do I know that?!"

"But, Jep, you're a genius, you must know!"

"Oh, now I have a must know and whatever?"

"Yes, yes! Ooh! There he goes! O-"

Both of them freeze as they spot Cresent turning to look their way. Then, he starts floating to them. Jep and Coosh's heart felt as if it could burst. They started pushing each other forward while discussing if they should run or not.

"Look, he- he's coming this way!! What do we do?"

"Uh... what do we do? I don't know!"

"Do we run?"

"Does he look dangerous to you?"

"Yes! If he's wearing a skull! That fits his head! Then yes!"

"Alright, RUN!"

They both stopped pushing and decided that running was a far better idea, so, they dashed off. With Coosh grabbing Jep by the ear, she muttered spells to get them going faster. Oh, but maybe some kind of ghosts were helping Cresent, cause he was right beside them, not saying anything but eyeing them like a statue.

Jep shook Coosh to stop and waved her hands in front of Cresent. When he blinked at the movement, Jep felt goosebumps even more. What did he want from them? An awkward silence passed, while Coosh was nervously poking Jep to get going.

Suddenly, Cresent cracks the silence.

"Di- did you guys see that?"

Coosh shook her head no, and Jep did the same.

"You guys did see it. Why are you two lying to me?"

They both said nothing and looked down. And back up. Then, back down.

"Fine. But even if you guys did see it, don't tell anyone. Or you guys are next."

Next?

The word rang in the heads of the two poor sylestias, and they shook like a can of peanuts.

With that said, Cresent swam back to where he was, and Coosh drooped down, melting like ice.

"He sc-scared the guts out of me..."

"Hello?" A sudden voice calls out. They zip around to see a beautiful Ryori, draped with silk.

"Uh, hi, we were j-" Coosh starts out, flailing around.

"No, no, it's fine. True, we don't get visitors a lot, and true, my brother is quite freaky... skulls... his uttermost passion."

The Ryori smiles and tangles her necklace, seeming nervous.

"Well, he's quite a weir-" Jep jabs Coosh in the ribs, dragging her away.

"Thanks! Bye! Nice seeing you! Shut up!"
