While chatting with a friend I kept trying to send her a message with a percent sign % in it, and it would not go through. I tested it out after realizing, and indeed, it does not send messages with % in it (thankfully it accepts the written 'percent' |Db)

Unfortunately, the chat feature is something we purchased from another company so the code is all pre-written in their own fashion. That makes it extremely hard to make changes.

I will try to find out why this is and fix it, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to.
