So my mom, sister, and I were out on a walk on the nice airline trail when somehow the topic of my mom's vegetarianism came up and somehow I said I would go vegetarian for a week; my sister decided to try going vegan for a week.

This is just a place I can talk about what it's like and my thoughts on it.

day 1 - I ate pretty normally today. I usually only eat meat for dinner so it wasn't too hard to go without it. I did notice that it made me more conscious of what I ate and I had half a melon, a protein bar, and some bananas with peanut butter today which is much less than I'd usually eat. For dinner we were supposed to have chicken pot pie but my sister and I ate my mom's tofu pot pie which was surprisingly good. I didn't like the texture of the tofu but because it practically didn't have a taste I ate it.

day 2 - I had an apple for breakfast and I just ate a protein bar. Nothing too out of the ordinary, I like how conscious it makes me of what I'm eating even though I just have to avoid meat. I ate pretty normally throughout the day. A banana, some cereal, a spoonful of peanut butter. For dinner I had a veggie burger and it was really good! I'm considering going vegetarian for longer than a week now!

day 3 - Oops I forgot to fill this out yesterday. Yesterday was really good, we had brick oven pizza for dinner and throughout the day I just ate normally.
