PROLOGUE - The Princesses Escape! I pant heavily as I race through the woods carrying my egg .The loud barking and snarling of the guards were gaining on me . I could hear their howls of "Find the Princesses!" "Don't let her escape!", so I ran faster. Soon I came upon a small cave, and I quickly dart inside. I hold my breath as a guard passes by, and slowly looks into the cave. I back against the wall, and crouch in the shadows, still holding my breath, while waiting for the guard to leave. Slowly, the paddering of the guards feet fade away, and I slump to the ground, all of my energy gone. I then set my egg slowly on the cold, stone floor, wrap it up in a cloth that I had tied to my waist, and rest my head on it. Suddenly, I feel cracking underneath my chin and, anxiously, I raise my head to look at my egg. Slowly, almost cautiously, the top of the egg came of, and out popped my newborn son! His face and body are covered in bright red flame markings, and mellow orange swirls. Right between his ears is a pure white diamond mark, and his paws are covered in yellow spots. "Blaze" I whisper "I'll name you Blaze" Then i snuggle close to my son, slowly drifting to sleep.
