I am having a really hard time getting seals activated in the Forgotten Tomb. It's clear we're being given an option for an advantage, and I would really like to be able to take it. Rather than complete the dungeon, I've been backtracking to try my hand at the seals again; however, backtracking forces you to go back through the entire dungeon all over again. The requirements don't appear to be static either. The few times I have managed to activate a seal with a pet, they have not stayed lit when I backtrack, and the pet that activated them last ceases to be able to activate them again. It would be nice to be able to go straight back to the seals to try again instead of traversing the whole dungeon all over again.

@Shadowphyr,

That unfortunately wouldn't really be possible without recoding the events and everything.

However, it sounds like you missed an important part of the ancient inscription that would help you a lot in knowing when you're right or wrong.

I actually spent an hour and a half deciphering that last night. I've tried connecting the seals with appropriate stats (also finally went and tried to look at some spoilers for that as well in the other forum), and it's just not working? I know I was able to activate some with one of my pets, but when I tried to have them activate the same seal again later, nothing happened.

Actually, it is a little messed up. All of the seals told me "You don't know if it worked" and gave me no change, but when I finally got to the final boss, it said that two of them had activated. I just kinda had to wing it. I managed to beat him, but none of the seals did anything when my pets pressed them, but he only had two of the buffers on him when I fought him.

You guys need to read the last sentence of the inscription.

Only those true to each seal will have the power to activate them and only when all four seals are activated will they illuminate.

That is the last sentence of the inscription. I had one seal illuminate during my first run through the dungeon. The third one. Seeing as I hadn't even touched the fourth seal yet, there should have been no way that all four seals were activated unless that last seal was already in an active state (which is a possibility?). I have the entire encryption written on a piece of paper that I have been consulting since I spent the time to sit down and decode it in the first place. Beneath it is a list of seals and which pets were able to activate what seals at any given time during the course of the dungeon.

My third run through, assuming that the seals reset themselves upon backtracking because returning to once activated seals brought me back to dull, lifeless ones, I was able to get the message that the seal started to glow slowly on the very first seal I encountered. This once again goes back to three untouched, inactive seals suddenly becoming illuminated because only one was touched.
