I was wondering if it were possible to 'lock-on' to a target in battle. Usually, when I'm attacking in battle, I attack the strongest foe of the bunch, to get them out of the way, Or for when there's only 1 enemy, the game still has to ask you who you wish to attack, and thought it would be much simpler if there was a 'lock-on' where your pets target that enemy.

It would be good to have a lock on target,so I would agree with this idea.

Well only if it doesn't conflic with the "Healing", like
when using a potion it auto-lock on the ennemy, that
would be bad... o.o"

It should be simple to make an auto-lock target only work with offensive abilities. Of course, maybe I shouldn't make assumptions about the game's architecture. xD At any rate, I like the idea and could certainly see some use in it. It would also be nice for things like the attacks that hit all enemies. I think it should be noted that an auto-lock on feature should not remove the need to press End Turn... That allows the user an "Are you sure?" out for changing their mind.

Also, by my experience, if you try to give something 'healing' to an enemy, it says something like "invalid target". I did this by accident by not choosing a pet to give it to, and selected the enemy after I hit close. It let me go through to click the 'end turn' button, but then came up with the error. So by the looks of it, targeting for healing objects shouldn't really be an issue.

Well if it's possible "Healing" doesn't get
affected by Lock-On, it'll be great, unless
you have onnly one pet, where it could
make it nice, but if it's too muh coding,
I shall just do with what I have~ <3

I will keep this in mind when I finish with the battling fine-tuning in the near future and see what I can come up with.

On that list already is:

-Adding hotkeys for abilities
-Adding hotkeys for targeting enemies
-Adding "use items" to out of battle Party Manager
-Adding a way to switch traps and switch scanners in battle

-And now an "attack last target" option

Oo Hotkeys! That makes things a lot easier/faster as well. Pretty excited to see a fine-tune of the battle system.
