Hey!

I'm Elektra (feel free to call me Elek or Lek). I'm eighteen years old and I'm from the USA.

I play a lot of video games, and whenever sites and games like these have any genetic aspect, I get really excited. I play The Sims, Pokemon, The Elder Scrolls (hence Elektra the Nord), MOBAs (Dota, HotS, LoL), PUBG, and a bunch of others.

When I'm not playing games, I'm usually voice chatting with people on Discord, hanging out with my boyfriend on Skype, or writing.

I do not read manga or watch any anime, so don't expect me to understand any references from those things. I was into them several years ago, but my interest has dwindled and I've never had any desire to get back into them.

I'm a recent high school graduate taking a gap year, so I figured with the amount of time I have, why not join a virtual pet site? I've been on and off these types of pet sites for over ten years, but none of them have quite held my attention enough for me to stay long-term; however, I will say that I love Sylestia's genetics/breeding system, I adore the RPG aspects of world exploration, the pets are beautiful, and the avatar customization is great!

I hopped into the chat a little while ago and the players were really welcoming! Huge relief, because I've joined several communities on the Internet where people were cold or even outright snotty to anyone who dared join in on the fun.

Hi Elektra! Welcome, and I'm glad you like it here so far! Yes, I've found ppl to be a friendly bunch here! ^^

Just wait until the Winter Fest; then the ultra-quiet chat will burst with life! It's my favorite time on Sylestia, and I can chat with all the friends I haven't spoken to for months. ;-P

Since you're so excited about the genetics/breeding system (that's what attracted me to Sylestia too! ^^), and you seem to like zolnixis, here is a fellow for you. He is special, because he has "Cute Witch" restricted traits. These can only be bred, not generated from essences, found in wild, etc.! Good luck with using him in your projects! He will be ready to breed in a few days (he's still an adolescent).

His base stats are also twice as high as your next strongest, Forsythia (you picked great colors for her btw!), so he would make a good party pet if you can get his level high enough.

Also, since you seem to like the rpg side as well, note that gear becomes more and more important (purple, orange, or red) as time goes on! Gear is really useful for boosting an untrained stat. I like to use gear to boost agility for the central pet and dexterity for the other two. But each person has their own strategy.

Some people have all healers (which don't get knocked out, but are sooo slow), or all fire (bam, bam, bam, but wasted on bosses), or all wind (quick k/o, but always struggling with health). Personally, I try to have a tank (earth or shadow) and two hard hitters (fire, wind, or even a dex based light).

I have some spare lvl 50 gear for Forsythia to get you started. :) It has high int and dex, which I thought would be very suitable for fire. :)
