A land split by three types of humanoids.
The Laminas are scaly creatures that are usually fueled by passion and emotion, and hold control over the harsh heat of the west.
The Pelages are furry creatures that thrive on nature and its blessings; they control the central lush lands.
The Calamus are feathered creatures that value intellect and precision. They live in the mountains and tundras of the east.
The three species have always been conflicting, but after the mysterious disappearance of Leader Spotted of the Pelages, Emperor Clau of the Laminas, and Queen Talia of the Calamus, the lands have reached a boiling point. Will you fight to avenge your fallen leader? Or will you venture outwards to find out what really happened to them?
RULES:
- This is a mystery-type roleplay, and as the creator of this world, it is my job to tell the tale of your journey, so to speak. I will describe opening settings and play any characters that do not belong to a player. Think of it like Dungeons and Dragons (if you know what that is), but without rolling dice.
- You may NOT play any royalty within this roleplay! I will try to put you outside your comfort zone, so try to get creative! Play an unsuspecting gardener with a knack for healing, or a street musician with a magic flute.
- BE LITERATE! I will tolerate some spelling errors (it happens to everyone), but otherwise please write well!
- No hybrids between species! Yes, I know, it's a shame, but the three species' traits are way too different to mix! You've never seen a cat mixed with a lizard in real life, right?
- Have fun! You choose what you do! Want to hang out in a geyser? Sure! Want to punch the door? People might look at you funny, but sure! You have a lot of control, I am simply constructing the story around your decisions.
- If you have any questions, ASK ME! I'm happy to explain anything!

~~
The peace grounds between the three countries mills with anxious activity. The respective leaders of said countries have been missing for over a week. The people are at a loss at what to do. You find yourself perusing some of the small shops, or maybe running one yourself. A Lamina street musician blows into his bagpipes, filling your ears with lovely sound. One of the many stalls hosts a scrappy Calumus. "Extra! Extra!
Read all about it! News on the missing leaders!" He shouts.

The leaders are missing? Salli said worryingly, as her butterfly sprite snifffed the Calumus curiously

Blibi, dipoopaj! The sprite whispered to Salli, who walked over to Blue nervously. H-hello, she stammered, while the butterfly rabbit creature sniffed her curiously

The sprite gave a disgruntled Giyeae, but Salli gently slapped its paw.
Be nice, she scolded the little butterfly thing, who stuck out its tongue

Ames leaned against her tiny cart with a few odd knick-knacks for sale. She watched the person with the news it of the corner of her eye. Huh. Interesting.

"Alright, here's your copy, m'lady." The Calamus slid a copy of the newspaper to his customer, then went back to advertising.
