I had killed bolt, but had only hit the other once (well..twice if you count both pets hit, but I digress) and was killed. I fixed up my pets and moved to a completely different area to level up some more. After my first battle in the new area with different sylestia I got the message that I had won the boss battle. I know I shouldn't complain (and I am not!) but I understand that is rather unfair for me to be able to advance without actually having won. I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but I thought I would bring it to your attention. ^-^
