My name is sommer, or randomOnlooker if you are looking for a pesterchum (but i dont get on it very much whoops) I'm currently caught up with homestuck thankfully. I help run some fantroll help blogs, and I'm a Paige of Space! Technically I'm a hetastuck but I most actively blog about homestuck and my favorite thing to do is either work on fantrolls or read about the classpect (it's such an interesting topic QwQ)

personally, I think this hiatus is a good time to get back in touch with some of our old fandoms, and some of the new ones. I'm really enjoying the work that the OFF fandom is putting out lately, and while I still don't know what Dingle Rumpus is about, its fans seem to be having a great time. plus all the webcomics and fan adventures that MSPA has inspired, like Ava's Demon, Monster Pop, PREQUEL, and End of Infinity.

Nice! I saw a few people scattered about and that made me happy but i wasn't aware there was a whole thread! Nice!
But yeah I have to agree ^u^ It's a nice time to adventure out of homestuck. Ive been actually thinking of trying to play OFF but wow i know i'll be getting into another one of those fandoms with a horrible plot mood 360 degree turn like pmm. I'm actually aiming to once summer break starts to re-read homestuck, and actually read the other adventures 0w0 That and I want to improve my whole understanding of what has happened so far (and theories!) so I'm currently digging through bladekindeyewear's tumblr.
But the only bad thing about the hiatus so far is that i keep making fantrolls (whoops) and it's getting a bit ridiculous really OTL All around im pretty happy with how we haven't freaked out too much, and i think it's actually bringing about more AUs which is really nice! I wasn't here for the other breaks, being only in the fandom since October last year, but homestucks have a pattern of just exploding with creativity during hiatuses.

Wow! you have a long way to go! But man look forward to. Oh gosh you have yet to meet so many characters (a lot of them grade A cuties) So If i get around to talking about any spoilery material i'll go ahead and put a large spoiler warning on it ^u^ But I have to ask who is your favorite character so far?

hehe ^u^ Karkat is one of my favorites too, but it's more to do with the fact that behind that thick shell of angry ranting he's like a frikin marshmellow man. But I think my ultimate favorite has to be The Mayor (otherwise known as WV) (but Equius is pretty high up there too along with Tavros.) I cant quite recall if you have yet to meet all of our wandering carapacian friends where you are at :U
