Alpha (Leader of the Pack): Ren
Ren is a calm, powerful alpha with absolute authority and control. All in the pack give him their full respect, and he is admired by all.


Luna (Female Alpha): Elise
Elise is beautiful, slender, and blazingly fast. She is a well respected hunter and mate of the alpha.


Beta (Second in Command): Darius
Darius is a handsome, dark furred wolf with a unique style of strength-based combat. This wolf is one of the main characters of the story.




Hunters/Warriors (That Appear often)

Violet: A popular she-wolf that favors Darius, the deputy. She is said to be the pack's strongest female fighter, and later gets in many quarrels with Scarlet. She is rough, commanding, and ambitious for the position of Luna.


Torin: A former rogue that Scarlet once knew, and they were friends since pups. Recently joined the pack and became wildly popular for his appearance and skill.


Nikki: A hunter that Scarlet befriends when she first joins the pack. Friendly, outgoing, and just lovable.


Belinda: Sassy she-hunter that is hilarious, and one of the pack's favorites. She befriends Scarlet.

James: Male warrior with a long scar. Old friend of Ren's
Marilyn: Rather young female hunter
Iris: Beautiful she-wolf that is one of the center of attentions for male wolves
Lilac: Violet's sister. Young female warrior.

Wisp: White arctic Lupora with quick paws
Vi: Blue Lupora with strange pink eyes. Female hunter
Boulder: Muscular male lupora that is one of the strongest warriors of the pack.

Scarlet (Main Female Protagonist): Beautiful russet colored lupora with lush eyes. She joins the pack later, even after being the pack's greatest singular enemy, labeled a criminal.


Cream: Scarlet's best friend that later joins the pack to find her

PROLOGUE


Scarlet liked the rain.

It was quiet. Peaceful. The rain didnt snap at her, didnt bare its fangs, didnt accuse her of anything. Unlike that good-for-nothing pack that had vowed to kill her.

Only a week ago did one of their members, Aurora was her name, attack her. She was full out and ready to kill Scarlet. And Scarlet didnt like that, that a stuck-up pack member thought she could single-handedly take out one of the strongest rogues in the Esior Region.

So she retaliated. It wasnt her fault that they were so close to the cliff, it wasnt her fault that Aurora slipped, blue eyes wide as her body plummeted down the jagged rocks, landing twisted and at the wrong angle.

It wasnt her fault that the pack blamed her for Aurora's unsightful death.

She had been pursued, wanted, the killer of Esior, where three main packs thrived. The packs were Goldendawn, Silverdusk, and Darknight, and all three were told that they could kill her on the spot. Not that they knew what she looked like. Aurora had been one of Silverdusks little hunters.

Scarlet didnt like that. Nobody understood her.

But the rain, the rain did.

CHAPTER ONE (WIP)

Scarlet bolted through the dusk forest, fall colors blotches of leaves on the ground. Whisking, falling, twirling...
Her paws skittered across the plants and stone, running swiftly through the hidden paths that her nose led her. She could hear him catching up, and fear thrummed through her veins.
If she was caught, she'd be killed.
But this wolf was fast, faster than the others.
Scarlet whipped around, meeting his stunning, cerulean eyes. He grunted in surprise when she dashed forwards, scything his paws under him with lightning speed, and she sunk her fangs into his shoulder, drawing blood, paw slamming his head into the earth. Too late did she realize her vulnerable position when she felt his hindleg sink into her stomach, and she flew off, back impacting a tree.
I haven't seen that move before... This one is high-ranked. She smirked. "And what position are you in, to be so strong?" She stood back on her paws, tail whisking across the fallen leaves. Scarlet's fiery eyes met his calm, cobalt ones as he, too, sat up in a sitting position. He's handsome, but I'm not exactly searching for a mate right now.
Then she heard it faintly. Pawsteps. Without a word, Scarlet vanished into the shadows.

Darius narrowed his eyes, growling softly at her arrogance. If that rogue knew who I was... Still, the male Lupora was surprised at her incredible agility and acrobatic talent. That rogue's skills are impressive... no wonder we haven't caught her yet.
Torin caught up to him, shaking his long gray fur. He dipped his head in greeting, offering a friendly grin. "She got away again, Darius? I'm impressed. Even you can't catch her." He tipped his head to the side in mild curiosity. "I still haven't seen her, and I sure wish to."

A pale-furred she-wolf materialized from the shadows as Scarlet licked her wounds in the dark woods, long russet tail curled by her paws. Cream sighed, shaking her gray-yellow fur. "You were too reckless again. You have to remember you are on their wanted list, Scarlet...."
Scarlet rolled her eyes, standing. "My wounds will heal in no time." But she's right... one day i'll be caught.

----The next day----

Scarlet bounded through the forest, feeling the wind through her long, russet pelt, and she increased her speed, ground almost a blur beneath her paws. The rabbit was only a yard away

With a bunching of her muscles, she launched forwards, paw flinging the prey in an upper arc, and she caught the helpless animal between her fangs, hearing the familiar crunch of bone, and it went limp. Scarlet shook her mane of fur, and made a beeline for her and Creams hideout, when something heavy impacted her side, claws raking down her pelt. She snarled, prey falling out of her jaws as she reared backwards, kicking her opponent in the abdomen, and he grunted, skittering backwards across the leaves. Her angry, flame-colored eyes glanced upwards, and the rogue gaped.

Those eyes Torins golden-yellow eyes met hers, and he exhaled a similar breath of surprise. Ariddea? He asked softly, paw uncertainly lifted. "You're the rogue that's been on the Wanted?"

"It's Scarlet." *She growled softly towards her old friend. Torin's ears flattened and he snarled softly at her hostile tone. Scarlet's eyes skirted over Torin's body, it was supple, strong. No wonder the pack accepted him. If I fought him straightforward, I would surely lose. She thought quietly, muscles tensed for any move he would make.

"Ari-Scarlet, you can end this." He said softly, tail swishing among the leaves. "Come with me to the pack."

"And how would you persuade them?" She retaliated

Torin fell silent at that, and Scarlet knew his answer.

Torin opened his jaws to speak again, but Scarlet was long gone.

Darius watched over the pack, sitting calmly, tail curled around his rather large paws. He dipped his head in greeting to an approaching figure, and narrowed his eyes at the gash that stretched from Torin's belly to his flank. "Torin. Have you been hunting that rogue?"

Torin dipped his head, golden eyes determined yet respectful. "Actually, I wanted to talk to you about that...."
