Part 1 = A shadow that falls will rise again.



Sylestia a calm quiet place filled to the brim with adventure and mystery, and many undiscovered secrets.
Sit down and wrap up warm my fellow Sylestian's and humans and prepare to meet Sylestia's Darker age.

A long long time ago when the land was dark and the times were dangerous to even stray from your nest or home there was a legend born and burned into all Sylestian's memories. The legend of the Shadow Zolnixi's who came with the darkness and made the world much more dangerous than ever before.

A young ambitious male, leader of the group and bane of Sylestia's existence, he was smart confident and foolish yet was brave enough to charge into a cave filled with danger after his mate fled from battle. A young beautiful female, leader also to the group and mate of the alpha male, she was smart brave and a good mother to their pups but she was not fearless and not as wise as she always exclaimed to be.


When they re-grouped and re-built their little group they felt as if the world was theirs already but they did not anticipate the strength and willpower of the free Sylestian's and were drove out of the land once more. Time and time again they tried and tried but to no avail. One day however they managed to take over Umbra Forest and managed to keep it under their greedy paws for some time before the mighty Sylestian's pried it from them in a chilling battle that tore the once great Sylestia into 10 separate places ruled by 10 separate Sylestian's and humans.

Once the battle was finished the young male Dunn was outnumbered and forced his mate Leila to flee battle and promise him she'd keep the pups safe no matter what, after she swore her last oath to her mate she fled with the nurses and pups to a safe location near the volcano. Dunn was slain in battle the mighty Chien a great and furious Ny'vene who had lost a few of his brothers and sisters in the previous battles struck the final and fatal blow.


When Dunn was returned to his homeland his loyal mate grieved for her loss but raised her pups alone with the help of the nurses who managed to live with her and the young pups.
It is said that once Dunn's body was laid to rest the shadows crept away and hid waiting for their opportunity to strike Sylestia into the dark ages once more. It is said to this day that after Chien was celebrated and announced a Sylestian hero that the furious mateless Leila placed a horrid curse on him and he fell ill from a battle wound that would not close no matter how much the doctors fixed and stitched it, he was cursed to forever feel her pain the loss of the love and farther to her pups who would one day raise the army as their farther had and strike Sylestia until it lay at their paws.

But that is just a tale of Dunn and his most faithful follower Leila who upheld her promise until her last breath in the caves near the volcano she had made her and the pups home for many years. The pups did survive but their whereabouts are unknown, after their mother passed they seemed to fade into the shadows as if waiting for the opportunity to avenge their fallen parents and comrades.

Now young ones i must be on my way Lady Saerielle is expecting me back before nightfall. I'll return with another tale but a much more pleasant one next time i think will be told.
