Prologue
It started two months ago, when a great terror rose from the dark depths of the ocean surrounding the peaceful land of Sylestia, home to many creatures and humans. From these dark depth came a creature that seemed to come straight from the heated magma of the earth. Its eyes glowed a bright orange, its body covered with dried and fresh lava, it scanned the peaceful land before letting out a laugh that rocked waves. It spoke these words,"Darkness is coming Sylestia, will you accept it or run?"

Chapter One
It was early dawn when Spice awoke with a yawn, stretching out his legs and extending his claws. He relaxed and opened his wings a little to stretch them too. Spice is a vulnyx, one of the many cats of his kind, he was lucky though, he was born with wings,unlike some vulnyx. Spice looked around studying his surroundings, the usual sounds of the forest surrounded him, enveloping him in a musical like hug. Everything seemed to be normal like always, but Spice felt unsure, he didn't know why but he felt like someone was watching, and they were probably not friendly. He got up to his feet and left his little hollow, hidden between two large ferns and several other trees surrounding the edges. He padded of looking for something to eat, maybe some fish by the river, or some birds maybe, the options were limitless. Thats when he heard a cry for help, not just any cry, a human's!
