This place, right here, is the official roleplaying thread of the Icarus roleplay.
Link to signup thread just in case you or I need it.
I may make a map of Icarus, for reference.
Also, for continuity, this roleplay starts on a Thursday morning.

I pulled the trigger, the gun jumped up in my hands slightly before settling back into my grasp, I quickly aimed and pulled the trigger again, I was in my zone, time was inconsequential as I continued firing. I had counted my bullets, there was only the one left in the chamber, I pressed the small button on the side of the gun to eject the now empty magazine pulling out a new one from one of the front pockets of my vest sliding the fresh clip into the gun.
I glanced at my watch, 8 seconds had passed since I drew my gun, I around the small desk I was using as a distance mark, exactly 20 feet from the target, which in this case was a small wooden sawhorse with a foam wolf mask attached at the end. I walked over to it and examined where I had hit, 10 bullets had gone right through the top of the head, instant kills, the other two had gone through the mouth area which I was sure would at least stop a live wolf from attacking.
I walked over to my large metal safe, input the combination and opened it, there were only a few things that I stored in it, one being various spare parts and gun cleaning supplies, the other being 30 boxes of 9mm ammunition totaling around 1,500 bullets at capacity, at the moment however I only had about 800 rounds.
I spent about half an hour refilling empty magazines and cleaning my pistol feeling confident that I could kill one or multiple attacking wolves if the need arose, that was really the only bad thing about this town, apparently wolves had been attacking people, killing them and dragging their bodies off, there had been a hunt for them when I had arrived about three weeks ago, the odd thing was that nobody had found anything, not even the bodies. They had hastily built a fence around the perimeter of the town however the attacks have continued, some people think that it may actually not be wolves but a person, which made sense but I didn't particularly care, I knew how to kill both quickly and without using too many bullets.
Checking my watch I found that it was 9:00 am I debated weather to go into work or simply do everything online, I decided on the latter, I could get it all done faster from home, which one of the perks of my job. But first I needed to eat, I walked upstairs and into my kitchen. I pulled out what was left of my loaf of bread and put it in the toaster, I wasn't in the mood to cook anything this morning. I opened my refrigerator and pulled out some butter and an apple, both of which I was running low on, a few minutes later and I was eating buttered toast and an apple, with that done I decided that I needed to go shop for bread, butter and some kind of fruit.
I went back down to my basement gun range and put on my tactical light vest, which was a fancy name for a few straps with an attached holster that could also carry 3 clips of ammo, thankfully it didn't restrict movement what so ever and it could easily be concealed under my coat. I walked back up the stairs to the entryway of my house and grabbed my black leather trench coat, the thing made me look a bit odd, almost like someone out of the matrix, minus the sunglasses, but I didn't particularly care, it hid my weapon vest well. My wallet was still inside one of the inside pockets. With that I stepped out and Locked the door behind me, heading north toward the shops, cars were too expensive these days so I never owned one, plus Icarus was small enough that I could walk or jog wherever I needed to go I sighed as I noticed that it was overcast like normal, however it almost never rained.
(Phew, sorry for the long intro, kinda got carried away, it likely won't happen too much ;) )

Enojo opened up a large cardboard box and smiled as the scent of freshly baked cakes, breads and other doughy products came out. She sniffed again, enjoying the eroma before she started setting the products outbon plates and organising them so if the wind blew correctly, the scent would go to where most of the people would be walking.
After emptyjng the first box she put it under her stall just next to the second one which was still full. The second box was for back-up supplies in case most of one product was sold...though she had no intend of re-filling the plates untill hey where empty...people want things more when there is little left, a clever trick she had discovered.
Enojo brushed back her silvery hair and brushed down her clothes. Typical style clothes for her family which look almost Indian...or how some people said.
She flicked the stand before looki.g at the sky and resting a hand on her neckless. She felt every tooth on it and the pendent at the center. "Pleaze let it be a good zale day..." she asked whoever might be listening. "And may...may Jay be found alive and well..."
Jay was a friend of her's who went out after curfew...she disapeared and no trace of the girl had been found...
But if she got enouh money she would buy a gun...or any weapon and try to pursuade the people who where left to do another hunt...Icarus can't give up hope yet! There must be a light somewhere in the darkness that surrounds the town...

A few people glance your way as they pass, but for the most part they have gotten used to seeing you traveling through the town. You pass by a woman setting up a bakery stall, and a couple of children run across the street in front of you. Their parent follows more slowly, looking up and down the street almost warily before crossing. The grocery store is a few streets down, already showing some business as people get supplies or snacks on their way to work.

I through a glance at the woman setting up the stall, I had seen her around before however I didn't know her name, she seemed to be preparing to sell baked goods, as I small business owner it was likely that she would be charging less than the large grocery store. I elected to come back after getting butter and an apple or two, perhaps I would get some bagels as well if she had them in stock, they were always better home baked instead of store-bought. With that thought in mind I continued walking toward the larger store.

A pair of children ran up to your stall, looking anxiously over the choices as they waited for their parent to come. Their parent was a regular customer, but it was rare for the children to get up in time to come to your stall. The adult picked over the pastries until they saw their usual choice, then waited for the children to choose. After they had, their parent dug their wallet out of a pocket and took out some money to pay you, saying with a grim smile, "Not a bad day," indicating the cloudy sky with a jerk of their head.

The grocery store is brightly lit, the overhead lights buzzing quietly. Shelves holding boxed goods and convenience items stand in the center, with refrigerators and freezers lining the edges. One of the shelves holds fishing supplies and bait, although the nearest body of water that is big enough to fish in is several miles away. Even so, one man seems to be considering buying something from that section. Other people walk purposefully about, looking for items among the shelves, which had no clear means of organization. Oddly, the fresh produce was located in the center of the store, between gaps in the shelves. The owner of the store leaned, bored, against the checkout counter, watching customers and tapping buttons on the cash drawer absently.

The parent nodded solemnly, all traces of a smile gone. "That will, indeed, be a happy day," they agreed. They took the bag and started to herd the children away with their other hand. One, a young girl, stopped and turned back, waving at Enojo before scampering across the street. A few minutes later, someone else stopped by the stall on their way to work.

Enojo nodded and waved bye to the customer before she sorted the products once again and greeted the next customer and quickly pointed out the best products she was selling at the moment.
" I have zome tazty chocolate centered muffinz...very fluffy that they feel like a cloud..." she said to the customer as she tried her best to bring a bit more publicity by making the customer feel like they really where great and telling their friends...
