So, I've noticed in the leaderboards there have been some profiles of pets and such that have been viewed, well, an insane amount of time that I think is impossible. Especially when some just start to stack up only while the owner is online. I think this is because profile views are counted based on IP address. I'm not definite about this, though. But! My suggestion stems from that idea. And I just want to add that I wouldn't be suggesting this if profile views were just stats to compete against, but since views speed up pet growth or increase their strength or something, I feel this might be an issue.
My suggestion: change it so that a unique User ID gives a profile one view. So no matter how many times you reset your router or go through proxies or anything, you can't increase it because it knows your user ID has already seen it. This would also prevent people without accounts upping the profile view count which I think just shouldn't count as they aren't members. I was able to confirm this because I asked a friend to view one of my pets and it increased the second she opened the link to the page. I'm sorry for the long kind of rant-ish suggestion.
TL;DR - Make profile views on profiles and pets count based on the unique User ID to prevent people using proxies and friends without accounts to speed up the egg process, make hatchlings stronger, and falsely being placed on the leaderboard.

@Nicholas
That is what we originally had planned. However, when we added the feature where views increase maturity/XP, we switched it to IP Address. The goal was so that people can place their pets into forum signatures and such on other sites and get them to grow faster.
There is a cap to how much a pet can grow from profile views per day. So it's not unlimited.
The only thing we may consider doing is removing Profile Views from the Leaderboard.
