(I know the RP forums are a little .......really dead, but everyone and anyone is welcome to join comment and read along)
I have recently been playing around with an old OC of mine that I have had for years but recently wanted to flesh out how she looked because I was only able to ever do it in description format before because she is so specific and her outfits are very diverse (with the help of the stupid AI) I think I can finally show her the way I always had envisioned.
But there is one big problem I have. despite her detailed backstory and history and the fact that she is one of my favorite OC's I have never actually used her in an RP. I thought I'd try to change that, I tend to go AFK for a week or two..... or three.... sometimes being a mom is a challenge, but I will respond always.
so...... I was wondering if anyone would be willing to RP a collage/adult age Pokemon RP with me. I'm cool with doing group RP's and individual one on ones. If you have any ideas or want to post you OC here too that's fine! Please Ping me so I am sure to see it!
without further adue here is Miss Lyra (I will be doing more outfits and also posting her pokemon here as well)
Lyras parents are both Pokemon breeders, her mother specializes in ethical breeding of shiny Pokemon and competes, and does well, in pokemon competitions. And her father specializes in breeding contest and Show Pokemon and also competes in Showcases. He is one of the top breeders for show Pokemon and an avid competitor known for his stunning Fairy type pokemon. To explain a little further This region has Pokemon Shows in addition to Contests where anyone can enter a contest Shows are set up for Breeders to show of their talent in Producing perfect Pokemon (think large scale Pokemon go showcase meets akc best in show) The shows highlight Pokemon standard traits and genetics and typically look down on Pokemon who don't meet their standards. Both of Lyras parent have been nothing but sweet and loving even though her career path was different. She's grown up attending both showcases and contests equally loving both for different reasons the harmony and teamwork of contests and the minor genetic differences that separates winners from losers in showcases. Though she was a normal kid she was always drawn to the odd and different. Where most young adults choose a Pokemon at a certain age Lyra Received Avery as a gift from her father a perfect showstopper of an aloan Vulpix (and he knows it) and Rose a shiny fire type vulpix from her mother (her sweet temperament complements Avery's Aloof nature) the two bonded right away and are by their own choice a future breeding pair. Lyra admires their dedication to one another and they remind her of her parents demeanors and relationship dynamics. She entered genetic research at a young age removing herself from formal contests early in order to study. She has been a pioneer in her field with her parents teaching she was able to bred Lilliana a hybrid Rapidash as her senior high school project before entering college. This put her at the front lines of every research facility and collage In The region and beyond. The sudden responsibility was extremely overwhelming for her making her hide away in her research she has since made a few other discoveries such as the effects of pokeballs on genetic modification. (Baylor backstory: Baylor was genetically different because his parents were Both eevees that never evolved and were never caught in a pokeball. Lyra is still studying why it happened and if it can happen in other species. She is not against pokeballs but she is beginning to wonder if they are necessary as a tool in the field of genetics or for everyday use and what other genetic effects do they have on Pokemon. Because of her discoveries she is considered even more of an oddball and people love her but don't really try to hold a conversation with her for fear of her going on a scientific rant. She does not keep any of her Pokemon in pokeballs, Avery and Rose are at her sides at all times and Baylor sleeps and rides in her satchel bag, and Lilliana is her main form of transportation. (This can make travel with all of them very difficult) she is also a cutesy girl she love wearing cute outfits and is drawn to cute girly things especially when she doesn't have to wear her lab uniform but does not mind getting dirty at all. she is a hard worker and dedicated but she struggles with being overwhelmed by the expectations of others in her field. She is also self conscious about making relationships with others as she is not very good at it.

i dont really have any ideas yet besides my character maybe being a (former?) eight gym leader. i think i'll wait for you to post more about your OC first before i come up with a solid idea

Cool can do Ill let you know when I get more up I want to take some more time with her and with travel Im just super limited but if you want the basics she is a genetic engineer who specializes in type differences and breeding pairs and did an understudy in eevee genetics and variations (think lefeon but monstera leaves)she has two vulpix partners on shiny fire type female and a male aloan vulpix she is 28 but looks super young for her age. She was a contest champion in her school days and pith of her parents are professional Pokemon breeders in different fields on is a shiny specilest and the other is focused on breeding show Pokemon. She also successfully completed a breeding project of the Galarian and mainland Rapidash for her undergraduates program. Ill post her here below when I hat chance to get o. The computer hopefully today I need to sleep off the 12 hour drive though

i'm sorry, but i'm a little unsure about how much you're using chatGPT right now. you wouldn't use it while writing responses, right?

Oh goodness no! It sucks at story telling Im only using it for images. Ive tested some storyline ideas and it really just is terrible. It takes a ton of tweaking just to do profiles and such too so its mostly for NPC profiles and maps and atmosphere images. With bigger world bases like Pokemon its harder to draw or find images that display what your after to the player. Even when I was online for a few hours every day doing multiple RPs image drawing and finding took up a ton of time and sometimes its not possible to accurately show a character or scenery or keep a world map layout consistent. I hope thats okay if not thats fine I can always work it the old fashioned way with Pinterest boards XD.
The chat from before was a mystery storyline idea but I think just doing a free for all cozy RP would be good to what do you think?
Also Im gonna try to post the images I have that Ive done so far I would love your opinion on them
