I must be bad at reading but people said the rune to press is depending on the weather. It's snowy, so I press cold rune, and I end up taking mass damage? Did I do it wrong or do I misunderstand it?

mm, snowy is actually a Wet rune (along with rain. precipitation, I guess?)
Cool rune is Cloudy weather
not exactly the most intuitive, so it's an easy mistake to make
