I can't take that quest, it doesn't have that cave option for me to choose....

Can you take a screenshot of what you're seeing? Not quite following where the problem may be.

It's been a while since I did this part of the story so I can't offer any specific advice, but you could check out this walkthrough (section 2, parts A and B most likely?) to make sure you haven't missed anything.

Oof...I'm in the UK...I can't...see...

When viewing the World Map, there should be a little popup box in the bottom right corner (the + sign). Click that and it should tell you exactly what step you are on.

You probably need to go into Esior's Haven and interact with something in there, such as accepting all of the quests from the Quest Board.

The tutorial popup in the bottom right should guide you through each step.

Oh, found it! I needed to accept all quests first, I only accepted a few >v<
