Hi! Im Tavi Stars (pronounced TAH-vee) and I use she/her pronouns. Im a disabled, neurospicy (AuDHD), Gen X artist, writer, and dreamer who loves creating characters, worlds, and cozy spaces, both in games and in life. Ive been blissfully partnered to my best friend for over 17 years, and we have one amazing daughter, a 4 legged spoiled cat.

I have a soft spot for all things purple, kawaii, spoopy, frilly, macabre, alien and space themed, and glittery. My interests are wide ranging from philosophy, meditation, traditional and digital art, writing fiction and non-fiction, arts and crafts, listening to ASMR, singing (badly but with passion) to K-Pop, watching anime, K-dramas, and BL shows, and studying ancient cultures, languages, and belief systems. I see magic in animals, nature, and the cosmos and I live for rich, heartfelt conversations about art, science, space, aliens, gaming, books, spirituality, human nature, sociology, and beyond. I'm horrid at small talk.

I was diagnosed with severe fibromyalgia over a decade ago, and the journey of becoming disabled has taught me more than I ever imagined. I live with constant, head-to-toe pain alongside anxiety and depression, but creativity, especially writing and art, has become my refuge, my therapy, and my way of transforming struggle into something beautiful. One day, I hope to write a book about my journey with disability and chronic pain to help others who are just beginning their own paths. There are so many things I wish someone had told me when I first became disabled, lessons and comforts that might have made the road a little gentler, If youre ever in need of someone to talk to about living with chronic illness or disability, please feel free to reach out to me. My Hobbies and Interests

Creating Art: I adore making both digital and traditional art, lately I've been focused on digital art more as the effort to set up, create, and clean up traditional art is a bit too labor intensive for me. I love working on various arts and crafts, from beading, casting and painting plaster mandala stones, and so much more. On my iPad I draw in Procreate or Fresco, while on my PC I work mainly in Affinity Photo 2. I also enjoy working with UV resin, though Im on pause until I get better PPE, Id rather avoid developing a resin sensitivity!

Gaming: I love games that let me customize avatars, homes, and pets, especially when they include player-created content. Ive been hooked on The Sims since its release in 2000, and Ive purchased every franchise installment since. I've even dabbled in custom content creation for Sims 4. Ive also tried most pet and avatar sites over the years. My very first were Gaia Online and Neopets, where I definitely invested far too much time (and money).

Writing & Worldbuilding: Storytelling is one of my greatest passions. I write both fiction and non-fiction, and I love roleplaying and worldbuilding. I've been roleplaying since the days of Telnet MUD games and AOL. I have several novel ideas currently in the works, and my dream is to one day see my name on a published book.

Media: I'm a huge fan of K-Pop, anime, BL shows, and K-Dramas. My favorite genres across books, movies, and series are: fantasy, historical fiction, dystopian, science fiction, gothic fiction, apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic, space opera, cyberpunk, isekai, sagas, and supernatural. And if you add in a slow-burn or angsty romance? Im hooked.

Ancient Cultures: I'm endlessly fascinated by ancient civilizations, and I love studying the myths, symbols, and belief systems of Norse, Egyptian, Greek, and East Indian cultures. Theres always more to learn, and I never get tired of exploring their mysteries.
