After doing my egg hunt, I went to combine the sets of Easter Eggs I collected from the Egg Hunt.
On my first set, I combined eggs, and it awarded me Retired Easter Avatar Boxes x3 rather than x1, and 3 boxes were indeed added to my inventory.
In case it's unintentional for 3 boxes to be rewarded from one combination of eggs, I wanted to post it as a possible bug. I didn't notice the Easter Event Overview mentioning the possibility of x3 Retired Avatar boxes being rewarded, but if I missed it when reading it over, apologies in advance.
I opened another set of eggs as well, and it also rewarded x3 Retired Easter Avatar Items:
(I haven't opened any of the avatar items, so the two sets of 3 stacked to 6)
**Edit:**
Opening 8 sets of eggs resulted in 7/8 sets being Retired Avatar Items - (Easter) x3(21 Avatar boxes), and one being a themed pet. Just thought I'd add that as additional information, if it may help at all:

It's intentional, for now.
Due to not having any new Avatar Items, the Easter Eggs' loot table is pretty small. Additionally, the Easter Event has very few Avatar Items - basically just the one main set plus a few miscellaneous items. So the majority of the boxes will probably just give a lot of the same Rare Held items.
In order to still make the Easter Eggs feel rewarding, I decided to increase the quantity to 3 boxes per if a Themed Pet isn't hit.
I'll see how it goes for the first day or two. If I feel like too many boxes are being awarded, I'll probably reduce it to 2.
Thank you though for making sure. =)
