I just tried to use Sticky Goo on my Dearly Departed Puffadore brew to give it a mutation 2 slot, and when i did it just closed the menu and didn't take my Sticky Goo? I tried it twice to make sure it wasn't just lag and it still didn't work.

Maybe it doesn't let you pick any traits since it's having 1 carried trait only?

Is there an error message popping up when you are trying to use it?

No, do I need to use a blood vial on it first to use the sticky goo?

Just used a blood vial on it and it still doesn't work.

Just asking to clarify, when trying to use the sticky goo, did you make sure to do both "Select Slot" and "Use on brew"?
After clicking the "Select Slot" button, the pop-up will close, and you'd need to click the green button "Use on Brew" to complete the process of assigning a specific slot to your brew.
Sorry if this doesn't help, just wanted to ask in case the need to click on the green, "Use on Brew" button may have been unclear as to if it needed to be clicked or not after the select a trait slot pop-up has closed.
Posting an image to clarify what I mean(First you do "Select slot" and then after that closes, do "Use on Brew"):

Yea that was the problem, I just forgot that the "Use on Brew" button was there, but the brew just finished so now I cant put it on.
