It would be nice to just hit a button to bump a thread instead of clogging up the page with unnecessary bump posts.
On another site I'm on they have a button for that and it's so nice and convenient and it doesn't drown out the posts actually related to the thread.

Support. That would also be a great "keep my thread from being locked" button without the aforementioned clogging.

would love this, it feels weird to have to bump threads before i have an actual update to post just so it doesn't lock. i'd love the option to keep things more organized without all of the bump posts.
