Hi everyone! Name's Ethel, and I've decided to start this thread to try to bring back a healthy Ny'vene population. i completely agree with Everlost. The Ny'venes have gone from people's most favorite, to one where people are desperately trying to sell them to get more stable room. I don't know about you, but that makes me very sad. It's time we step up and start taking care of our site. It's not just Krinadon's and Faiona's job, the economy of the site is in danger and we can do something about it.
This is why I have decided to start buying any and all unwanted Ny'venes in an effort to clean up the site. My hope is that the less undesirable Ny'venes that are in the system, the more the nice ones will stand out, the more people will be willing to pay. Also, there is one thing I want to be sure that everyone knows. I will probably be releasing many of the Ny'venes if I can't find a good home for them. This is for those of you who are against releasing pets.

Buying
As I stated before, I am looking to buy Ny'venes. However, I have some things you should know before trying to sell to me.
-I will not take eggs. Ever.
-Any other age I will take, however, they have to be tested. I will not take them if they are not tested.
-At this point I can take any age excluding egg stage
-Please DO NOT set the pets up with my ID, i do have partners and they may want to help with your pets too
-Also, I only have a limited amount of money, so I can only pay so much. Right now, the top I will pay is 10K gold.
This will change as my gold goes up/down
Also, know that I will be going around buying any Ny'vene i can get. If you do not want me buying your Ny'venes, please, put them at 11K or higher.
If you need your pets tested there people that are offering to help in the breeding forms or you can look at our help page, we currently have 2 users offering to test pets ^.^
Selling
Most Ny'venes that I buy I will try to sell, at least, for a few days. So, always look in my hatchery and stables for new Ny'venes for sale. ^.^
Pets that I will not sell~
- 0 vis
If they have 0 vis and are 3 or fewer carry, they will not be sold.
-3+ vis
These Ny'venes will be put in my recolor program.
-1-2 vis
For now, 1-2 vis have a chance of not being sold. Remember I am trying to raise the economy and many 1-2 vis are not going to be helpful. However, unless they are HORRIBLE, I will most likely be selling them.
If I can not sell them in the set # of days, I will release them. The # will change due to availability of stable space, current hold time is 5 days.
Recolor Program
I know that there are a lot of pets out there that are worth keeping on the site. However, they just don't have the colors that anyone wants and the owners don't have the money or are just too lazy to recolor them. Well, never fear! I am going to start recoloring any pets I come across that I think deserve it.
-3+ vis
Has a 100% chance of recolor.
-2 vis
Has a 45% chance of recolor [depends on the genes].
-1 vis
Has a 15% chance of recolor [must have a good vis and mutable carries {4+}].
I will give these out a number of ways. Some, I will have for simple sale.
(I know they will be more expensive, but I am putting more money into them.)
OR
I will put them into "Muddies for Buddies" and I may also have them as prizes of games that I host.

ok so there is more then one way to get rid of your unwanted Ny'Venes and one of those ways is to trade me your Ny'venes. this is where you can trade for other Species trades, Probably mostly Nephini and Puffadore maybe a 6 vis Nix in there sometimes. but you should know i will not take straght swaps. i will set the prices by Gene-o-Points, i do my best to breed high quality pets [1-3 vis] and sense both the Nephinis and Puffadores are worth alot more then the Ny'Venes it WILL take mutable Ny'Venes to reach the price.
Please note i will also have these pets are also up for Sale. however they will be overpriced. one because i need the money but also because i want to encourage more people to get them from trading.
the Gene-O-Points system goes like this

Female: 2gp
carry: 1gp
vis: 2gp
also i will be taking pet dyes as trade too, they equal one vis so 2gp

My biggest goal is to get as many unwanted Ny'Venes off the market as possible. the biggest reason the Ny'Vene economy is so low right now is because there are so many Ny'Venes being bred and sold, that people just can't buy any anymore. we as a community just don't have the room. however we can reverse this, and that is what we here are trying to do.

So many people have offered help! it makes me so excited that people want to get involved! i've decided to set up a set of forms for people who are interested in helping me get this done. as i said this is a community project and the more people want to help the better.
for now there are only 2 options for you guys. there may be more later as the need arises but for now this is all. ^.^

this is the option for people who are looking to help me house the Ny'Venes
you will be expected to
-have at least one tab free
-be willing to release pets
-keep up communication with me.
i.e. as to which pets you take, how many gps that person gains, ect.
-you will NOT be expected to buy any pets
as in pay more then 1g on them, your welcome to, however i do not expect you to go all out for this.

I have a bunch of ny'vene in my stable2/hatchery if you think any are worth not being released.
I wouldn't mind putting them towards that second neph girl. O.O

Lucky I noticed this, I was actually about to start releasing some Ny'venes.
I'd like to offer up some of mine, but could you add them to Talyn's count for me? Tal recently lost out on an auction of mine, and gave me the puppy eyes, so I figure this way I can make it up to her. ^__^

Edit: I also happen to have 17 odd diamonds. I'm not really all that picky about diamond count, but I noticed that you have 3. If you'll accept, I'd like to donate my awkward 17 in hopes of helping you out, even if it's a tiny tiny bit. Like you, I think it's a shame that the Ny'vene market has plummeted so far [and I haven't been on the game for too long o.o] They need a comeback!
