I'm kind of planning of making something to hand down
to other people while I'll be going at the Otakuthon next year~ :3
I want to give some publicity to Sylestia, but I have no
idea what to make~ o.o"

It have to be enough small for me to carry many to give~ ^-^"
I'll need ideas of what to write on too!

It have to be appealing for the "maybe-future-users", as long
as everything that is writing on the paper is not false facts~ XP

Like, I'll need to think of "Newbies' tips", what to tell them that
they need to know as they start, to make sure they enjoy their
Sylestian life the best!

If I get enough help, this Project will be carried on and I'll make
sure to make tons of them and give them away while I'm there.

(For those who doesn't know what the Otakuthon is, it's like a
big Festival about Japanese Animations and "comics")

Since I'm always less shy to talk to other when they can't be already
knowing me and it's one of the rare place I can talk to strangers
with SOME ease, I want to do this!

It will also train me more in getting more confident into myself, as
I'm normally having real big trouble engaging conversation with a
Stranger in MANY situations.

So, for me, it's quite important.
I will be able to promote Sylestia and train myself into getting more
Social.
If you know me only online, you can see me easily chatting in the
General Chat, similar situation in real life would equal to me just
nodding to what is said and feeling 100% out... If I'm even approching
the people chatting.

ALL ideas are important, I need your help because I really don't know
what I could put in the paper apart from :
some Newbies Tips, showing Starter Pets and presenting the awesome
Fabled too!

We need to show how Sylestia is different from other sites! ^3^

It might be cute to have little bios of Krinadon and Faiona! That's one of the things I love, is how involved they are with the community and how quickly the respond to this site.

It might be good to include things about the breadth of the community and the gameplay as well. That's what I love overall; I love the storyline progression, but if I've bored of that, I can focus on breeding. Or missions. Or the art side of the community. Or dungeons. Or roleplaying my pets. Hahaha! :)

Hmmm... I'd say buttons or stickers, but those can be expensive, even if bought in bulk...

Yet, I'll be needing help into writing anything, English is not my first language and I fear to fail with whatever might comes out, so I'll probably ask the community to help on the final idea. :3

Uh... Manga cut outs of Krin and Fai? Clay statues of Sylesti? In a cute box?

I don't think I'll be good in making either of those... o.o

Plus, I need to be able to transport LOTS of them...
That's why I hope to stick with anything that use paper as the base.

maybe you could get some of the awesome artists on the site to draw a few of the Sylesti or some of the cool outfits, and print them out with your tips/hints/quotes etc (not big pics just like playing card sizes?). That would be cool, and it would show how supportive the community was (of course you would have to get the art in the first place... meh idk?)

All contributors will have their names somewhere in the work, just need to see how I'll do it EXACTLY.

I hope of doing it not too big, that people aren't encouraged to read because of size, but not too small, because it wouldn't show enough~ :o

I had thought that you could do double sided stuff, so have the images and maybe a main quote on one side and on the back some more info, ie, site details, more hints, events, artist recognition (although this could also maybe go on the flip side, especially if you get each artist to write on their drawing, ie: Willowdarimn says cone experience the great exploring system in Sylestia *and the pic be of the map or something?*)

then it wouldn't be too big but there could be lots of cool stuff put on them.

I would think a small card, and maybe have some of the key features of sylestia (indepth breeding system, super friendly community) and maybe some newbie tips.

You could probably ask around for some art, or maybe even use some of the great stuff that's already around (like the lup with the newspaper on the front page)


(and of course if it isn't too overly cluttered you could your referral code on it)
