Question, though! Can we collect the eggs at any time, or are they only available for collection during the time of this Dynamic Event? I only ask because I know we can't turn them in without the event being active, but I don't know if we can still collect them outside of the event for stockpiling...
@Shadowphyr,
Spring Festival Egglings (what you collect during the event) only appear when the event is active.
Decorated Silver Egglings (the currency) and Spring Surprises (the container) can be collected at any time.

Okay, that's what I was wondering! I didn't get a chance between collecting (nurturing) and the raid to test whether they were still showing up in the nurturing section, so I thought it would be easier to just ask. XD

Ack! I have no idea where to collect these egglings, and am having trouble finding explanation =(

im confused about te eggling hunt. are they around esior's haven or something? or are we just all over the place fighting things untill we find them?

When the Event begins, you can visit Esior's Haven and Tresea will pop up and explain the event to you.
But in short, you can find Spring Festival Egglings by searching for pets to Nurture in the Hatchery or by battling anywhere in the game.
