Welcome Sea Ladies and Sea Gentleman to the City of Coral!!! We're a very small City found under the Atlantic Ocean. We offer homes for all breeds of Sea Creatures and everyone is welcome to live here. We have a Great School, Nice Houses, and just a Beautiful Atmosphere. Not to mention there is plenty of jobs for everyone to live happily here.



Okay, okay... I know what you guys are thinking. Wow Sarah really...? How sleep deprived are you? Well I say... Very. I was just scrolling through DeviantArt and I always see so many great pictures there of people who are half Human half Sea Creature, but they're so odd looking that no one can use them in a normal Supernatural Rp. So here is what I am thinking. We live in a small town underwater were you can be free to be the weirdest half Human half Sea creature you want... I know, awesome right!!! Yes, your friend here Sarah is a genius...



Rules: (Because i'm a big meanie fish!)

1.) For this roleplay, you must be able to write three lines, per character, every other post. I don't want half posts were your character only says, "hey how are you." That's it. Make them move and use facial expressions. Do something to get to that three line mark!

2.) Your pictures, for this roleplay, must be big enough to touch from one side, or almost one side, of the page to the other. I don't want ot have to squint when I look at them. It is quite annoying.

3.) If you have read the rules for this long, then put the word Squid in your Other section of your forum. Try not to make it so obvious.

4.) Try to keep this roleplay realistic. There isn't going to be Hamburgers, Television, Ipods, or anything that requires going onto the surface to get unless you can breath air... Then your okay, but I need to approve those characters!

5.) Put some thought into your forum. Try to make your character interesting by adding something that makes them less or more desirable.

6.) If you have read the rules this long then add People in your Other section of your forum. Try to make it not so obvious.

7.) For this roleplay you must be active. You have to at least be able to get on once a week! I don't think that is asking to much. ^-^

8.) Don't be scared to make up Plot Twists! Anything to keep this roleplay interesting will make me a very happy camper, although, you are roleplaying with me and I am know for changing the storyline dramatically. Just ask Coradrawa!

9.) If you have read the rules this far then add Rocks in your Other section of your forum. Try not to make it so obvious.

10.) Curse words are acceptable in this roleplay! I for one have a very bad mouth, just ask Lostsoull.

11.) Sexual scenes are not acceptable. If your characters are going further then touching each other awkwardly, then try to do that in the PM or just say that they did it... Whatever is fine with you and your Rp partner! *Cough* We're not writing porn! *Cough*

12.) If you have read the rules for this long, then Great Job!!! I know I would have got bored by now and just scanned for the extra things I was suppose to add in the Other section. Well anyways, *Whistles innocently* if you have read this long, then add in one of your sentences in the Other section three exclamation marks. This is what I will be watching for the most!!!

Okay, I think I covered everything. Anything ya' need to know... Well don't even bother asking because I don't like none of ya'lls! Just Kidding. Just ask, i'll answer them!

I take back what I said above... There have been some new developments that I need to explain, SO LISTEN UP!!!

1.) All of our characters now have the ability to change there tails, or fins, or whatever you want to call them, into legs. This should be a pretty simple idea to comprehend, but just in case some of you think that I am talking jibber jabber, then let me explain. When your tail, or fins, or whatever, changes into legs, the scales and extra whatevers you have on them, stay attached to you legs. So your legs will be scally and such. Any questions, then pm me and I will try my best to answer them. ^-^

2.) Crushes will be added when all of our characters are done being made. You can not have sea creatures crushing on Humans just yet because they have not met. Obviously... Also, if one of your characters has a crush on someone else's characters, you should let that person know by Instant Messaging them or Private messaging them or just Pinging them to this thread and telling them... Whatever way of contact is best for you. =3

3.) Our Rp is going to open up with a funeral... I will make an extra character that died in a horrific way... This will help bring in the human characters that we're making. Our human characters will be in the submarine because they were invited by a friend (My Character) to come with them for fun. He has paid a professional to take them on a submarine tour of the Atlantic ocean. There can also be people who are complete strangers to this person because the tour is open for everyone... So, go ahead and make a stranger. We will start Rp'ing our characters from the submarine just like we start our Sea creatures off at the funeral. This will help them all meet when they crash. The submarine will crash close to the funeral so that our sea creatures will be forced to help them. By helping them, I mean giving them the pill that all Sea Creatures carry around just in case, to help Humans breath underwater for a small amount of time. I'm going to say... Six hours... So they will be forced to take four a day. Also, if you want to kill your humans off in the beginning, then some of them can die in the crash and some don't have to get the pill fast enough and drown. Also also, I am making the captain of the submarine. Also, also, also, you can't have ore humans then Sea Creatures because I said so... :P

What is the pill and how does it work?

The pill is no other than a Brown Algae Pod! This is what you're going to do to save a precious human life...

Well, you're going to insert the pod into the humans mouth and squeeze it till it pops. The human will inhale the air inside the pod, which in turn will, change their genetic code and allow them to grow gills. After a few hours, the gills will slowly start to close and on the six hour mark, the humans will need to take another brown algae pod...





(The Cemetery is for the people who died throughout the Rp. They could also be ghosts if you would like... But that comes later! XD.)

Personality: Claire is Outgoing and always trying new things. Although due to things in her past she has trust issues. Anti-social, she never really talks to anyone and spends her time in the deeper part of the city. Calm, it is hard for her to get excited about really anything. Cautious, is constantly looking at her surroundings and checking inside random things.
History: When Claire was eight, she had witnessed something that changed her whole life forever. She used to be happy all the time, a normal kid. One day she came home from school to find the door to her house open. She wasn't sure what was going on and she figured her parents must have left it open. Upon entering the house she saw blood. It was floating around everywhere and painting the walls red. Dropping everything she was carrying, at the moment, she ran into the house. She looked around upstairs first. The only place left was the kitchen. Entering the kitchen she witnessed her father on top of her mother. Stabbing her lifeless body, over and over again. When the dad saw that she had witnessed it, he came after her. He cut her up the right side of her stomach, leaving a nasty scar. He was soon arrested and Claire was put in a orphanage. When she turned eighteen she moved out of the orphanage and into a small cave on the outside of the City.

History: Hana was born into a rich family, but since she is the youngest out of the rest of her siblings, she gets none of the share. She spent most of her life growing up with everything she ever wanted. When she was seventeen, she moved to the City of Coral. She didn't like how everyone in her last town knew who she was, and she wanted to live a secluded life. No one in the City of Coral knows of her wealth.
Job: Works at a local Clothing Store.
Family: She doesn't live with her family. She has three older sibling, two brothers and one sister, a Mother and Father.

Personality: Indecisive, can never make up her mind about anything and is constantly making bad decisions. Sweet, talks to everyone and is constantly complimenting and getting everyone's spirit up. Destructive, usually breaks everything she touches. Liar, she will tell people things just to make them feel better, no matter if it isn't true or not.
History: Nothing interesting really happened till a few years ago. When Stella was twenty one, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had tests and everything done, but no one could figure out why she got it. She ate healthy, exercised, and it wasn't genetics. A few years later, is just suddenly disappeared. Doctors tried to explain it, but wrote it off as a miracle. She has coughing fits and sometimes passes out, but other then that she is healthy. She recently moved into a dorm with her friends Ara, Carter, and Gavin.
Job: College Student/ Works part time at the farmers market, where she picks kelp and stuff and then processes it for fish to eat.

History: Lillian lived a sheltered life. She doesn't know much about how cruel the outside world could be. Her parents home schooled her throughout her life and she never really left the house unless to get groceries. She became a nurse when she turned twenty four and works at a local school for young kids.

History: Elessa was born into a loving family. She was treated kindly and given everything she ever wanted, but she couldn't help but feel like something was wrong. She always felt alone and broken, no matter how much love her family gave her. Somedays she would sit alone in her nursery, and just stare at the extra crib tucked away in the corner. Throughout her third and fourth years, she started to realize that every time her mom bought her something, she would by an extra of it and put it inside the crib. By age five, Elessa gained enough courage to confront her mom about it, but her mom just told her she was to young to understand. A few months later, Elessa joined a public school. She blended in, for the most part, but was occasionally made fun of for having white hair. They would call her granny and whatnot. By age ten, Elessa blended in and made friends. She came home one day to find her mom crying in her dads arms. Elessa tried to ask her what was wrong, but all her mom said was that she was to young to understand. That day, Elessa drew a picture for her mom to try and cheer her up, but it turned out badly. Elessa had drawn four people instead of three in the picture and when her mom asked her about it and who it was, Elessa just told her it was someone she always felt watching over her. Someone who was just out of her reach. Her mom had sent her to her room and Elessa listened to her mom cry the rest of the night. From then on, Elessa never asked about the weird crib, the extra clothes, or the fact that her mom would cry every time her birthday was coming around. By age sixteen, Elessa had had enough. She questioned her mom about it and what she heard made her cry. Elessa wasn't the only child to be born that day. She had a twin brother, who was premature and died in her moms arms. Hearing this caused Elessa to break down and go into a trance like state. She swore after that day, she would never cry again, because nothing is worse than losing your brother. Elessa went through stages and by age eighteen she was a robot of no emotion. If people asked her what was wrong, she would ask them if they knew what it was like to lose a brother. No one could say yes to that question because no one knew. By age twenty three, Elessa got a message from locals, that her mom was looking for her. They told her that her family was having problems and needed Elessa's help. Thinking that her family was over reacting, Elessa got the grocery's, from the local market, and then went home. A few days later, she got a knock on her door. The man told her that her parents were dead and that it was murder. From then on, Elessa was nothing but happy, because she knew that showing anything but happiness, would mean that whatever she would be sad about, would mean more then her whole family dieing.
A year and a half ago, Elessa got a job with Sage. She became his intern landscaper. There relationship soon developed into more than just co-workers and they began dating. Elessa tries to put as much as she can into the relationship, but it is hard with her lack of emotion.

He was worried, his friend hadn't been at school that day. Upon entering the house, he headed upstairs to try and find his friend. He had found his friend. His friend hung himself from a small chandelier in the upstairs hallway. Ever since that day, Aiden has blackouts, his personality has changed, and he never talks to anyone let alone try to make friends.

Name: Callen Adry

Explanation: Callen had always been a quiet boy, someone who liked sitting on the playground's swing by himself, with no one to bother him. Day in, day out, as long as he could, no matter his age, he would always sit on it, staring off into the distance as he remembered past memories. Yet, while it seemed childish, it was why he met Brandon, when the older male decided to take a walk, walking past the playground which Callen frequented. Curious as to why Callen, a 15 year old boy, would be there, Brandon approached the younger male, and the two chatted for a bit, before the older of the two had to leave.
It was from there that their friendship started, and after two years, Callen had received an invitation to go on an undersea tour, to which his parents gratefully accepted, hoping that on the trip, their son would make new friends.

Personality: Rp out.

History: Callen had a good life, up till primary school, at roughly the age of 9. He had everything he wished for, rich parents, loving family, friends... A crush. Yes, while Callen was young, he had a crush. But then, it all came crashing down on the boy when he one day went to the playground with her. Due to a drunk driving accident, his crush was knocked down and killed, just mere moments after stepping down from the swing and smiling at him.
He remembered his look of horror as screams were heard, as children, including him, scattered when the car swerved towards the playground, straight for the swing. He remembered the look of surprise, then fright, as the girl was thrown feet into the air, landing on the sidewalk moments later, dead. Ever since then, the playground had become quite deserted, but few did come to play now and then, and it was also why Callen often was at the swing,
However, the incident sent him into a state of depression, and he arrived at the state of acceptance only when he met Brandon. It was him who got Callen to be sociable again, or at least, try to. Callen would still frequent the playground, but no longer as often as he did before. Callen still had trouble socializing though, so when Brandon's invitation to go on an undersea tour came, Callen's parents were delighted. It gave their son a change in environment, and gave him an opportunity to make new friends.

History: For 12 years, Zeltridas had been stuck in an oversized fish tank, a rich man having caught him and placing him there, an assorted array of fishes as his companions for when the human didn't show. Zeltridas could only blame himself for his own capture. He had, after all, been careless enough to get tangled in a fisherman's discarded net, causing him to be stuck there helpless, for no other undersea creature passed where he was stranded. he could only wait and hope.
And wait he did, till a diver came by and saw him struggling with the net. Being a merman, the diver didn't want to waste the opportunity, and quickly had Zeltridas hauled above the ocean, his only means of survival: a dirty tank, full of seawater, that just barely fit him. It was easy to say that Zeltridas was not in the least bit happy, even when he was transferred to what seemed to be a place similar to aquariums meant for tourists.
As the years passed, Zeltridas lost hope to ever return to the sea, for the only human he saw was his captor. It came that roughly 8 years after being caught, he heard a kock at the door. His captor would never do that! And hope sprang anew in Zeltridas' heart, and he banged on the glass walls of his prison, shouting, hoping to catch the attention of the newcomer. Hopefully, it would be a human who could help him.
However, the knocking soon stopped, the door never once opening as footsteps were heard running away. Zeltridas' heart sank once again, sorely disappointed. He started to truely believe he would never again go home, even when the master brought his son with him to see the merman 3 years later, and he slowly started to fade, as the light inside his heart died. It didn't help that one of the things that kept Zeltridas alive was his freedom, and being in the sea, and with him giving up hope, he weakened day by day...Until.
A year after meeting him, the master's son had returned, pulling Zeltridas out of the water. This time, while happy to be saved, he wished his savior could at least have spent some time thinking. Mermaids, much less merman, could never survive outside the water, not unless they took the pills they had been creating. hurriedly pointing to a cupboard behind the young man, Zeltridas hoped he could understand. It was by luck that he even had the pill on him when he was first captured!
Of course, the pills worked even when the plant was dried up, and the merman pushed past the human boy as his tai turned to legs, quickly gulping down a pill and sinking to his knees as he clutched at his throat, eyes closed shut in pain. Not having air to breathe did that to someone.
But, the pills worked fast, and he was soon breathing normally, and the human boy took him back to the ocean in a human device. Relieved, Zeltridas' first thought was to jump into the ocean, clean forgetting to thank his savior. Due to that, the merman frequented the shores of the human city, hoping to one day meet the human again. His prayers were answered, and he met the human a year later. He found out his name, finally, Brandon, and Zeltridas thanked him, before asking how to repay him. With Brandon not answering, Zeltridas offered - Let him show Brandon, and a couple of his friends and other humans, should he wish, the city he lived in. They had developed a way to let humans breathe underwater, so it should be ok. Besides, the mayor, Zeltridas' father, had already agreed to this plan, as it was one of the ways he thought up of to repay Brandon.
However, he didn't get his answer straight away. Brandon merely left with a 'maybe', and i left the merman frequenting the shores yet again, waiting till one day they could once again meet.

Toreles' are said to be 'The Guilty Mind' because they are usually covered with old nets and may have creatures stuck to them, as though to represent the sea creatures and birds killed. Though these animals are dead though rarely a Toreles is seen with a live sea creature.

Explanation: Brandon is the guy who invited most of the people to come along. Him and his parents paid for the trip. He, sadly, is the center of the reason these people are stuck in the situation they're in.
Personality: Brandon is easily distracted. He never really pays attention to just one thing and is constantly getting himself into trouble with this. He loves to joke around but knows when the joke has gone to far and stops. He is caring and often puts people before himself.
History: When Brandon was five, him and his parents were trapped inside a building that was on fire. He witnessed his parents burn alive before he was rescued. He was then placed into a foster care and took therapy to get over what he had saw. By age nine he was an orphan and lived in a little orphanage with a few other kids. He was adopted when he was eleven by a rich family. When Brandon was fifteen, he heard weird noises coming from the basement of his families home. He ventured down there, to find a room that was locked. He knocked on the door to hear cries of help and banging. He wasn't sure what was going on and he ran back upstairs, for fear of what would happen if he was caught. A few years later, he asked his dad what was down there, but his dad said, "nothing, it's fine". When Brandon turned eighteen, his dad took him down to the basement and showed him what he was hiding. Brandon was shocked when he saw it. There was a Merman. Something that only existed in fairy tales, trapped inside a tank. Brandon questioned him and asked his dad where and how he got it, but his father never answered any of his questions. They returned back upstairs and Brandon watched carefully, as his dad added the key back to his key chain. He waited for a year, watching his dads patterns and when he turned nineteen, he stole the keys to the room down stairs. Sneaking down the stairs, he entered the room. He was shocked again by how much weaker the Merman looked. Climbing the ladder that was on the side of the tank, he unlocked the door, and let the Merman out. He didn't know that they couldn't breathe air and was surprised when the man started gasping. Pointing to a cupboard, Brandon ran to it, hoping that there was something inside that would help. Opening it, he only found a very ugly looking plant. The guy pushed past him and stuck it in his mouth. After a minute or so minutes, the Merman started breathing fine again. Bandon snuck him out of the house and drove him back to the ocean. WIthout a word, the Merman jumped in. Upon returning home, he locked everything back up and returned the key to his father. The next morning, his father questioned him about it, but he said he didn't know. His dad was angry, but never said anything more about it. A few month later, Brandon returned to the Ocean, to see if he could find the Merman. He walked down a dock and sat on the edge. He whistled while he waited and he began to see ripples below him. A minute or so later, the Merman popped his head out of the water. He thanked Brandon and asked him if there was anything he could do to repay him. Brandon didn't have anything on his mind and the Merman told him to come visit. That they had developed something to keep humans alive underwater for a long period of time. Brandon told him he would try and that he had to go. He never returned back to that ocean until today...

A few months later her mom began hitting her. She would go to school with bruises all over her body and face and she would have to lie and say that she fell. By age fourteen, her mom's abuse got so bad that her father started joining in and even her older brother. By age sixteen, she was cutting herself, doing drugs, and dressing badly. Brandon was the only one around to support her and then they began dating.
