I am not sure if this is a bug or not.

Ok, I bred 2 Chocolate Valentine Bulbori, one with Gene One: Spots and Mutation Three: Ornate armor and the other one Gene One: Dutch and Mutation Three: Ornate Armor. And I got a baby that has Gene One: Spots and Mutation Three: Ornate Armor.

The baby is actually a couple of weeks old, because I only really looked at him today when I was trying to figure out how to make another one like him.

So, I'm not an expert at this, I'm pretty much a novice, but....that's not possible is it? I didn't mutate any of them, I breed the baby myself, and all I have done is use a genetic test on the parents.

So...I have no idea what is going on. Is this a bug? Or is this somehow normal?

Nope, not a bug. :3 Spots is dominant to Dutch, so since they're in the same gene location, and since your boy inherited both Dutch and Spots, he shows Spots and carries Dutch.

The Ornate Armor is much simpler. Both parents passed their Ornate Armor gene on to him, so he has it visible. It would have been garunteed from his mom, and 1/2 odds for his dad. :3

Ah ok. I didn't know it worked that way. I mean, I understood the part about the Ornate Armor, it was just the Dutch and Spots that confused me. Good to know! Glad to see this isn't a bug then.

...breeding is complicated. I don't think I understand it. I'm glad to know there are some people who do understand it.
