a Star-crossed Griffi project
by Rarespawn and Flute
Welcome to Rarespawn's and Flute's Star-crossed Griffi project. c:
This project will involve two Star-crossed Griffies, two mythical essences, several prismatic philters, and a ton of babies, in the endeavor towards a 4vis Griffi with Tiger, Faded Wings, Tribal Runes, and Snow Leopard Tail (Tiger).
For those interested in offspring, this will be a name-your-price project, courtesy of Rarespawn. It was Rarespawn's idea entirely to share the griffies with the community if they so wish it, as they are very pretty.

Meet Fortuna Novae and Stella Lux, owned by me and Rarespawn respectively.
Fortuna is a 2vis female griffi with Tiger and Frosted Fae Wings.
Stella is a 3vis female griffi with Faded Wings, Tribal Runes, and Feathered Wings.
mystical lovers
Meet the lovely mate to Fortuna and Stella, Amor di Fait!

There will be two generated mates total. Both lovers will be colored exactly like Star-crossed Griffies.
Amor di Fait has Tiger and Snow Leopard Tail (Tiger) visible.
The second mate will have Faded Wings and Tribal Runes visible.

the journey
i. create the carrying babies by mating both SC-griffies to Montague.
ii. on Fortuna's side, breed offspring from gen i with Capulet, to result in 4carry babies and losing the wing gene in the process.
iii. mate the 4carriers from Fortuna's side with the 4carriers from She's side, in hopes of a 4vis success.
iv. mate offspring from gen iii if possible to speed up the process.
generation i.
Fortuna x Amor di Fait, and Stella x Amor di Fait
Fortuna and Amor will result in offspring that have visible tiger, carried snow leopard tail (Tiger), and carried Frosted Fae Wings.
Stella and Amor will result in offspring that have carried tiger, faded wings, tribal runes, snow leopard tail (tiger), and feathered wings.
generation ii.
Offspring from the 1st pair in gen i will be mated to the second mate.
Desired offspring: carried tiger, faded wings, tribal runes, and snow leopard tail (tiger), along with losing frosted fae wings in the process.
(having snow leopard tail (tiger) carried across is a 50/50 chance between carrying or none at all; same with frosted fae wings)
generation iii.
Successful offspring from gen ii will mate from the offspring from the first pair in gen i.
Offspring will have variations of carried or visible tiger, faded wings, tribal runes, snow leopard tail, or feathered wings.
Desired offspring will have at least the first four traits visible.
generation iv.
Desired offspring from gen iii will mate with each other if unrelated.
From here on, breeding towards the four-visible goal will be nondescript.

I can also shed light on certain kinks here and there in the project, but for now, placeholder for said questions.
Why generated instead of pure-bred Star-crossed griffies entirely?
Rarespawn preferred this project upon learning the hatched traits of both our SCs, along with wanting to combine the traits that were given to us. Since there weren't so many SC griffies out there anyways that might make this easier, I suppose making the mystical-generated mates will make this easier to happen. o:
In the end, Rarespawn and I would like to share how beautiful these traits are with the community, if the community wishes for a piece of our stardust. c:
Where are the Feathered Wings/Frosted Fae Wings?
Rarespawn and I weren't too crazy for the wing mutations, so we decided to try and breed them out on the way to a 4vis. I can ask Rarespawn if they can stay in for the sake of breeding one for the community. o:
How much do I have to give for one of the babies??
Whatever your heart desires. <3 Rarespawn I think is very generous for doing this, and I think we won't turn down any request if it's in our reach within the project!
Will philters be used in the project?
Why, yes!!
I have asked Rarespawn about it while planning it out, and she'll use Prismatic Philters along the way. It seems like they will be used in the early generations. I'll flesh it out more once the mates age.
