For those on my dark matter nyvene hunt, I've been thinking of a bit of reediting to the design. At the time Jeweled Horns was the only option for the horns but as you can see below I've been tempering with the new-ish horns and switching gene 1 from number 2 img (crested lizard) to the first img (marbled). Anyways Im asking for everyone (including those not on the hunt's opinions on if I should stick to the original image back on page 3 or try for one (or if I can BOTH) of these. I also have to ask someone who specializes with these projects if its possible to get the offspring to show either gene or if one is going to be absolute dominant. (ex. parent 1 has gene 1- crested lizard, parent 2 has gene 1- marbled tabby, offspring potentially can have either crested lizard or marbled tabby as visual)

So you wanna work with:
(FF) Crested Lizard, and
(GG) Marbled Tabby
Right?

Because Crested Lizard is dominant, it'll always show up over Marbled Tabby if it wins out.
However, depending how many generations it has, you can get Marbled Tabby to show up.

I was doing a ton of dominant vs recessive punnet squares, and you have a 50/50 shot of getting Marbled Tabby out if you breed Crested Lizard with Marbled Tabby hidden (FG) with something with Marbled Tabby vis (GG).

edit: otherwise, I can't tell the different between either, so I'm good ;w;

lol I know Im always confusing ^w^; but yeah I want to breed one with the cresent and breed it with one that has marbled tabby if I could possibly get one of their children to show marbled tabby even though cresent lizard is very dominant xD

cresent+ marbled parents= potential cresent, or potential marbled showing (?) so like if I had four offspring from said parents would it be possible for one to have the recessive gene (marbled in this case) as a visual over cresent

will the parents have the crested/marbled genes CARRIED or VISIBLE?

If you cross the two parents together, there's no chance that the recessive will come out. There's only 25% that a visible trait will come out at all, and it would always be the dominant one (crested lizard) with the recessive behind it.
