Both of my pets are lvl 28 and I'm stuck at Lord Talon or whatever his name is in the dungeon and am out of resources to try for a 3rd time...sooooo I decided to go back and try out the trap system and capture some new sylesti...well, now I'm running into the problem where even in the Nightfall Bandit Camp, I'm killing them in one hit before I can even attempt to use a trap, even with only one of my pets in the party. Perhaps a "Do Nothing" option in battle could remedy this in case you really want to capture a sylesti.
I finally got my lvl 24 out of his mission (he's almost pure int without any int attacks, so he does no damage). I put him up against something and used my trap, and attacked to use my turn. It ended up using all 3 traps that I had equiped (which failed, so I figured I'd have 3 attempts with 3 traps from that original capture quest, or it's possible I misread and it was only one trap in the first place)
Either way...a "Do Nothing" option could come in handy

@Ashlique
We are already planning on adding this in It will be called Block and will give the pet a defensive boost for that turn.

Two suggestions, one of which pertains to the subject of blocking during the pet battles.
Instead of having a block feature where it utilizes and costs mana, can you add a "Pass" feature in addition to the mana burning block. This will allow the player to do absolutely nothing on that turn with that specific pet, where they may be saving the mana for the next turn, utilizing a full mana bar for the finishing move. The Pass feature is suggested to utilize no mana, but in turn the pet may still take damage if attacked.
Next suggestion is implementing a key word search for your forums. There are a lot of variances when people post on the forums (such as do nothing in lieu of pass or block). Not only that, I had to search through 32 pages of forum posts having approximately 15+ posts per page, just to find this subject, so I didn't repeat it in the forums. I could have bypassed the search and submitted a new forum post, but then adds to the issue of new posts to search through and bringing up an older subject that already exists.
