I'm sorry if this has been suggested before, I couldn't find a thread but upon asking around I know people have informally "requested" this, so I thought I'd go ahead and make a post. lol

I'd love it if we had a philter that would allow us to swap genes on the same slot. For example, if a pet carries a marking or mutation on one slot, but there's something on that same slot you would prefer, it would allow you to change it to that other marking or mutation. Carried genes would still be carried, showing still showing, etc.

Since we have a lot of genes sharing the same slots at this point, I think this would be helpful for those of us who accidentally select the wrong gene on a slot and don't realize it until it's too late to ask Krin to change it (as recently happened to me LOL).

It could also be used on pet captured in the Wild too actually.

It happens I see beautiful pets in the wild, but don't capture them, because they have a gene/mutation I don't like, but in the same "gene spot", there's one I like best~ <3

Best example for me is the Gnarl horn, I prefer the Unicorn lots more~ <3
(Even if Gnarl do fit some Qitari~ ^-^)

This sounds like a great idea but I could see the potential for the abuse on it. Unless the gene swap item is really hard to get, then maybe it would work better.

I have to say neutral for the time being, but I do like the general idea of being able to exchange genes on a pet.

It'd be the same as the greater genetic mutator in terms of price/usability, so it wouldn't be abusable.

I agree with mutie. It's not abuseable because the person will have to buy the potion with diamonds/scales, similar to how other potions work

The non-abusability is more in the fact it'd be a once-per-pet type deal actually. XD
