Jora giggled a little, "I doubt anyone even noticed us leave the mess hall." She looked down the hallway in both direction, trying to remember which way they came from. "I'm sure it was this way" She said pointing down the way she know for sure was where they came from. She quickly thought of something. She tried to make her face look unsure, "Or maybe it was this way?" She looked to Orion for a reaction then said "I'm sorry I couldn't help it. I never have gotten to joke around before. It's this way I'm 100% sure." She said smiling then suddenly thought Oh, I hope he didn't mind that would be just great!

A'ine wished she could reassure Ember by saying she had but that would be a lie and A'ine was awful at lying. It was even tough for her to bend the truth, "Not really, I had a tutor with A'eda'n once. I didn't have much fun with it though, A'eda'n was a perfect student and always got everything right." She sighed moving with the crowd to get to the food.

Keegan stared dumbly at Ilandere, unsure of what to say exactly. As she continued her story, he got more and more confused. "Oh... well I'm sorry you had to go through that, it sounds pretty awful," he said to her, attempting to be empathetic and kind. He felt a small sense of relief when Mythoso announced breakfast had arrived. He didn't want to pry into Ilandere's past, but he couldn't think of anything else to say without making things awkward. It was a welcomed distraction. "Well, food always makes me feel better," he softly stated, standing up and offering a hand to help Ilandere up too. "Maybe we can find something halfway decent here!"

Haizea unknowingly glared at the two boys, trying to decipher them. She listened patiently to what Mythos had to say before speaking, noticing Severus suddenly becoming more energetic. "well weshould go get some food," she abruptly said, turning to the Severus. "Assuming you're in the humanoid class, we should probably get used to each other," she bluntly stated. "I'm Haizea, she said without flourish, introducing herself. "And what about you? What class are you in?" she directed at Jason, simultaneously grabbing a banana from a server walking past.

Eniko was thrilled to hear that Lily wanted to be her walking buddy and immediately said yes. She was contemplating whether to ask herself but was too shy to do so. "It's a good way for the school to get people to get to know each other," she added onto the end of her acceptance. She glanced around at the food that was filling the room. Her eyes widened as she saw a stack of French toast. "I love that," she exclaimed to Lily, staring down the food.

"Ah, good timing my friend," Tadi said as Asher's comment coincided with Mythos's announcement of breakfast. "Now we need to find the juice!" He watched carefully as a bunch of servers came out with the food. "Hey, do you reckon these people are past students?" he asked Asher, noticing that many of them looked rather not human.

Orion nodded, grinning. "Well now's your chance!" he said, nudging her lightly. He sprints ahead of her so he can't shove her back. I finally can be nonchalant and carefree, without my dad constantly looking over my shoulder! It's nice to have a friend to joke around with. He tried to think of a topic to bring up. He wanted to avoid mythical creatures, drawing, and past life. Something... well usual. He skipped backward, wondering if Jora would chase him to get revenge for the shove.


"It must have been hard, living in your older brother's shadow, huh?" said Ember, trying to hide her disappointment that A'ine hadn't been to school before. At least that was something they had in common. Ember pushed her shoulder against the wall, trying to get away from the crowds.
