Mythos faced the teachers. "Okay, if that's the case." Mythos held up his hands, getting everyone's attention. "Again, welcome students! This is my school, as you can see. We have a few rules, not that many at all. I need you to be friendly to each other, you're gonna be here a while. So no fighting. You must have a partner whenever you walk around the school, no being alone. There will be no going off the grounds, as in past the forest behind us. You may, however, swim in the lake during free time. But you must have a buddy, preferably a creature that dwells in the water." He seemed satisfied, nodding his head at the teachers. "I believe that will be all. Students, are there any questions?"

Severus pulled himself off Haizea with her help, blushing furiously. "S-Sorry...!" He scooted away from her a little bit, Jason gazing at him confusedly.

Orion sat, stunned for a moment after Jora left before his senses returned. Yeah right Jora. I'm not gonna let you go cry in a corner again. I promised I wouldn't let you do that. He stood up and walked after her, wanting to give her some time alone. Where could she be? He looked down the hallways, but he couldn't find her. "Jora?" he called softly. He began to wander the hallways, hoping he would find her before a teacher found him, or worse, someone found her. He turned a corner and ended up near the front doors of the school. He walks toward them, and places a hand on the handle, opening them. He freezes when he sees Jora hugging herself. He lets the door slowly close. She's so lonely that the only person she has to hug her is herself. He presses his back against the door, leaning heavily on it.

Ember looked worriedly at A'ine, "A-Are you alright?" She heard my thoughts alright. "Listen, I'm sorry. I was stupid, and that was judgemental of me considering you just used your power to comfort me. And I'm sorry if I'm still scared of you. I-it's stupid." She looked away, wondering if A'ine would accept her apology, because she knew that she could refuse it. She was scared of A'ine, scared of what would happen if she accepted the apology, scared of what would happen if she didn't. Scarey-cat, scardey-cat, scardey-cat!


Astrid nodded. "But who?" She glanced around the room, looking for a possible canidate.

Bella cocked her head. "Wow Alderic. But, wouldn't it be hard to not have a brother and all of those sisters?" she couldn't help but ask. "I have an older sister. But she's taking care of herself." she said again. Bella put her right hand on her lips, just under her nose. "I hope she's okay." she said to herself worriedly.
Corwin flinched when Alderic just caught the star which was inches away from his face. He was glad it didn't hit him. "Nice job in catching that, Alderic." he said, half amazed. Corwin would never be able to do that.
Once again the headmaster spoke. Bella tensed at the loud booming voice over the speaker. Then she looked at everyone. "So... you guys wanna be, um... Walking buddies? I mean only if you want to." she said, giving Serene a hopeful look.

Lily looked in the direction Eniko's finger was pointing. There was a teacher dressed in black, not looking too happy. He was glaring at all the kids. Lily nodded. "I agree. He doesn't look too nice." she said to her friend. She realized what she had just said. "Well, I don't mean to be rude." she said with a sheepish smile. Her attention got back to the headmaster and the teachers. She had just heard what the headmaster said. "Okay. Do you want to be my walking partner?" she asked Eniko.

Asher sighed. "Yeah... Well, at least we'll get to hang out during free time and after classes!" he said, trying to brighten the mood. He nodded with a goofy grin. "Yes! Oh, now I'm really hungry! When are they gonna pass over the food or something?"

Oceanna snapped her fingers. "Aw man! That'll be the sight the see! We shouldn't miss it!" she sighed. She thought for a moment. "Hey, maybe we could find one more person to video tape it for us!" she said excitedly with a little squeal. "Well, someone who doesn't mind our mischief." she said again, this time with a giggle.

@Bmr, Desiree,

"Nice catch." Serene said, relieved. She didn't want to hurt anyone. "At least you caught it." she said to Alderic. She looked over at Bella. "I'm pretty excited. At least I'll be with people I know." she smiled at the group. And then she nodded at Bella. "Sure, we'll be walking partners! Don't wanna leave anyone behind, like Headmaster Mythos said." Serene said.

Sorry it's so short

Jora just sat there waiting to calm down. She finally got calm enough to decide to go back to where Orion was hopefully sitting waiting for her. She turned to go back inside and froze in her tracks. At the door there was a blue haired boy watching her..... Orion. No! He saw it! I'm sure of it, oh, what am I going to do? She didn't want to have to explain what she thought he saw to Orion. She turned on her heels and ran to the nearest group of trees, she looked back and, not seeing Orion, ducked behind a tree. She leaned her back against the trunk, turning her head towards the sky and started crying. She but her face in her knees, not knowing what to do. There goes the first friend I ever had! I'm sure he won't want me around anymore. She thought of playing hooky on the first day of school, just to put off having to face all the people who would think she's weird by one day.

A'ine was relieved that Ember didn't run off, "Yeah, I'm alright. Oh, no it wasn't your fault that that happened. Actually I didn't even know what you were thinking right then." She went though a list of reasons to tell Ember what just happened and a list of reasons to not. Lets just say it took her way long to think of the whole list of why to. "It's a thing that happens to me sometimes. I lose to much concentration and the whole world comes crashing into my mind. I'm just glad I was able to fix it myself. Last time it happened A'eda'n had to take me to the middle of nowhere so my mind could calm down." Here's hoping she would hate me.

Orion heard footsteps and took a breath. He turned around and opened the door in time to see her run toward a group of trees. He ducked backward when she turned. When she disappeared, he stepped out the door, pulling it shut quietly behind him. He walked toward the trees, glancing around for her. When he reached the trees, he walked around them and saw her crying. I didn't do it. She's crying. He turned into his dragon form, his blue and green coils wrapping between the trees. The world changed, as he senses sharpened, and his field of vision grew. He walked toward the girl huddled at the base of the tree, until his face was a foot away from hers. He nuzzled her head, trying to get her to look up. "You don't have to cry alone anymore." He said, in a low rumbling growl. I changed my promise. I cant stop people from crying, but I can be with them when they do.


"That must be hard for you. To feel the whole world's worries at once." said Ember. She stood and looked A'ine in the eye. "Thank you. Even if I'm still scared of you, you've helped me more than you know." she said. I'm glad I met her. I wonder if I'll still be scared of her later.

Jora didn't know what to do, then something touched her head and spoke. When she worked up the courage to look up, she saw a blue and green chinese dragon. "Orion?" She barely said the word, but she knew it had to be him. She just sat there looking straight ahead, waiting for the tears to stop. She let out a small laugh that could almost be mistaken for a hick-up, "You know this is the third time today I was crying and looked up and saw you." She reached up and wiped her eyes, smiling a little. What did I do to deserve a great friend like him? She wiped her eyes again, "I think we should go back inside, we probably missed an announcement or two. And we really don't want to be late on the first day of school." She got up her smile widening a little bit more. She looked into the eyes of the dragon beside her, "Thank you." She said in a whisper.

A'ine smiled "Well, that was an exaggeration, it's not exactly the whole world, just about a 25 mile radius around me. And it's not just the worries, I get the joys as well." A'ine waited for Ember to finished then smiled Youre welcome Im glad I was able to help you out.

It took all of Alderic's concentration to not laugh and smiled overly much instead he asked the newly arrived severer, "Um, do you have any unsweetened peach ice tea and some more fruit and berries? Oh and maybe some fennel?" She reaches down and grabs some iced tea and some more fruit salad with some extra berries in it. And finally brings up the fennel. "Thank you." I said right before digging into the delicious celery like food. I look around the room out of habit. "Hey Corwin." I said before finishing chewing and swallowing the food in my mouth then washed it down with some tea, "Isn't that girl over there the one I ran into in the hall or what was her name." I snap my figures a couple of times before continuing "Oh yeah, wasn't it Jora?"
